Aiko settles in to the small room she has in the girls' dorms, having set out a small Kokatsu and prepared tea and snacks for her eventual visitor. She sits at the table, a tanbokon open in front of her as she waits for the arrival of a Crane.

Hoshiko wouldn't keep the teacher waiting long, having been playing on the rooftops again all morning. She reached Aiko's door, and knocked.

"It is unlocked, Doji-san," Aiko replies, the invitation to enter implied by her tone.

Hoshiko entered, bowing to the woman. Remaining as polite as ever.
"Good morning Mirumoto-senpai. I hope you are well?"

"I am, Doji-san. Please, take a seat. And it is sensei or sama, not senpai, Doji-san," Aiko corrects the student gently. It is clear she is more amused by the mistake than offended by it, and is chalking it up to the girl's nerves.

Hoshiko blinked. Has she really said that? She went bright red and bowed.
"My apologies! I was..." no excuses, she bit her lip and just said "I'm sorry!"
she took the sheet, ashamed as her mind had gone to Noboru, which wasn't far off the point...but it was a mistake she'd beat herself up for.
"A-ano..." she hadn't looked up since, trying to put her thoughts in order.

Aiko smiles gently, "It's alright, Doji-san. We aren't always perfect, so you don't have anything to be ashamed of."
The Mirumoto pauses to start pouring tea for the young Crane, "Now. Calm down and tell me what's on your mind. It must be quite weighty if you are getting so flustered over a small mistake, given how confident you usually seem."

Aiko pauses, then sighs, "Unless you are of the line of Kakita Meta, Doji-san, you have little to worry about from me. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the rest of my clansmen, as they seem to feel that all of the Crane were involved in that stupid incident with the notebook, not just four idiots who didn't know how to handle an issue that they disagreed on."

"What is the feud? Why has it affected other Crane, and other Dragon, if it's only between you two?" Hoshiko frowned "I'm afraid I don't entirely understand."
