Noboru's eyes met Hoshiko's as he brought a hand up to wipe away a few locks of her hair from her gaze. For several silent moments he just stared into the Doji's eyes, heart beginning to stir a little. Finally, courage gave through to trepidation and he kissed Hoshiko fully. It was, like many things the Dragon did, awkward, clearly the first time he'd kissed a girl in his adult life. And yet it was also strong, full of two competing emotions that she could feel at the same time: a rage that wanted to consume them both and a warmth that wanted to desperately end the more destructive fire for something that could bloom.

To say Hoshiko was ready would be a lie. The kiss caught her completely unawares, and she was wide-eyed and blushing heavily before her eyes closed and she tried to return the kiss. Hers was softer, and showing she also had very little experience in this. Her hand moved up to rest on his cheek, almost mirroring his hand as she lost herself in her first ever kiss.

Noboru was slow to break the kiss, hand resting lightly on her cheek as he blushed softly. The light in his eyes flickered softly as his orbs continued to get lost in hers, forehead pressed against the Doji's as he offered a soft whisper.
"No, nothing else matters."

Hoshiko wasn't ready for the kiss to end. Her face was flushed, warm to the touch, and her breath hot on his face as her eyes opened slowly to be met with his. She was lost in them, her heart pounding, and she never wanted this moment to end.
"I...can't remember if there are any more words" she commented, breathlessly.

Noboru just smirked a little in response as he lost himself in her eyes. "If there are, does it matter?" came a play on the lyrics of the song as his hand tenderly stroked her cheek.

Hoshiko laughed at that. "No, nothing else matters" came her soft reply, as she pushed past her shyness to place another kiss on his lips.

Noboru returned the kiss, arms instinctively wrapping around Hoshiko as he pulled the Doji closer to him. His heart began to race, the Dragon seeming intent on not letting her go if he can help it.

As he held her, Hoshiko's arms snaked round Noboru's neck, holding onto him. Never wanting to let him go, as her heart jumped in her chest. Eventually though, she had to break the kiss, her eyes opening but she didn't move away.
"This wasn't the music I was expecting" she said with a breathless laugh, looking the happiest Noboru had ever seen her.

"T-to be honest," came his shy, if breathless reply as he lightly rubbed her back. "This wasn't what I expected to happen this morning either. But..."
He bowed his head, still smiling as he kept his eyes shifted downward. "No one knows me as well as Rey-chan does. But I've never enjoyed playing music as much as I have with you. N-nor have I ever met someone who I could consider at last my equal... m-maybe even my better when it came to playing guitar."

"What do you mean maybe?" Hoshiko said with a smile, moving to rest her head on his chest as she hugged against him "and...I've never met anyone who made me feel like you do now. I'm...really happy I came to play on the roof with you. Getting a second chance to know you has made me the happiest I've ever been."
