Uuen-Xiang had finally made it to the school grounds. She'd made note that another party was going down in the evening, and since it was held by a teacher, she made a note reminding herself to attend.
She had considered going to change so she could be practicing something, but she was still a bit winded following the morning's earlier mishap, so she was instead now walking up the bleachers by the athletics field, looking down over the lawn, length markers in white, sandpits starkly brown against the green grass.
She stopped by the booth she assumed was for the announcer come track day, looking inside, before trying the door. Locked. She sighed, dropping her bag on a seat, looking out over the field, trying to get some of the dirt stuck on her top off of it. All these things to do... And no reason to do any of them... School life seems so monotonous...

Uetani was sat in the bleachers, alone, black against stark white. She had a tea set with her, and looked like she might be preparing for a ceremony.
There was something start about the image, depressing, one woman alone in all the seats, looking out at nothing. An artist could have painted quite the picture, but as it was, this was a moment, to be captured, like any other.

From the other side of the field, Uuen-Xiang spotted the other, squinting to try and see who it was.
No one she knew, it seemed. She started back down the bleachers, raising a hand, waving. "Ohayou!" she hollered.

Uetani looks up and waves over, not an enthusiastic gesture, but not a 'leave me alone you bubbly fuck' one either
She goes back to inspecting her implements, looking over the tea serving things

Not deterred by the lack of a greeting in return, Uuen-Xiang continues over, now crossing the fields. "Wasn't expecting to see anyone out here this early," she hollers again, moving closer.
Probably just isn't a hollaback girl up there...

Uetani does not call bakc, but slowly stands, bows and beckons the other woman over before sitting again
So uncivilized

As she finally gets close via the stairs, she bows. "Pardon the intrusion, Crane-sama," she says, slightly out of breath, having sped up the steps. "I was pleasantly surprised to spot someone. Akodo Uuen-Xiang." She bows again, taking the last steps three at a time.

She stands and bows "Kakita Uetani. Would you care to join me in a tea ceremony Lion-sama, it might help you find your centre"

Uuen-Xiang looks over the set-up. "Well, I would normally never turn down such a generous invitation, Crane-sama," she replies. "Though I must insist on introducing myself first so Crane-sama can decide if she really wants my company."
She bows. "Akodo Uuen-Xiang. Of the Ikoma Bards. First year. Pleased to meet you."

"A delightful introduction, and this one is most pleased to have received it." she smiles "Now sit!" she is almost matronly as she gives the command She goes through the ceremony, correctly and slowly, smiling and silent the whole time. First giving each implement to her guest to inspect, showing her the bowl before mixing the tea. She gives the bowl, and a towel, wiping the rim for each of them to take a sip, passing it back and forth until the tea is done Tea Ceremony: 5d10o10k3 32 (Get a Void Point back)
