". . ." She stared at Sakura for a long moment, and pretended like she didn't hear the Sensei's name. And then she stopped staring, to move a few inches away from where she had scooted towards Sakura, "It's an honor to meet you as well, Asako-san. I trust your day has been well? And your weekend as a whole?""

Ryoko blushed in embarrassment as she was corrected at forgetting Sakura. "Sumimasen, Mirumoto-sama! I... the last few days have been a bit of a blur. I meant no offense!"
Then Mako asks her questions of the little Phoenix and pondered it a moment before offering with a smile, "Wasn't there a a monk came home and saw everything had been stolen? And when his companions tried to give him comfort he smiled and said, "Why do you weep? He took nothing from me."? That's how my weekend has been! And yours, Otomo-sama, Mirumoto-sama? I trust it was well?"

"I had an interesting discussion on theater and poetry yesterday. And I met some curious people earlier at the stables, such as a Lion who had never spent much time around horses," Sakura replies.

"Mm, philosophy, philosophy..." Mako said it out loud, as she searched for a passage that fit to what her weekend was like, before speaking in the worst attempt at a wise voice ever, "An ocean wave can as easily take a life as it provides one. Such it is for all good things." She said it with a little smile, and then self translated, "Or, rather, good days turned bad, and then good once more, because they are simply sides of a coin?"

"What is wisdom?" came the reply from the small Asako girl, a smile toward Mako as she seems to nod in agreement. Then Sakura brings up theater and she looks curious.
"You like theater? I've... been considering trying out for the drama club but I don't know if I should." She then turned to Mako, asking, "Do you like theater as well, Otomo-sama?"

"I do like theater, actually!" She smiles at them both, brightening up, "Though I mean, I like dancing more, but well, watching theater is a lot of fun. I dunno how I'd be in a drama club though..." She frowns, and seems awkward, "I like being in front and center, but pretending to be someone I'm not seems... hard."

"I love theater, Asako-san, especially participating in it. It is something that is just so...unique to experience," Sakura replies, just trying to figure out how to phrase it better.

Ryoko perked up almost immediately as Mako mentions dancing. "Oh, wow! I like dancing, too! My dance instructor was even trying to teach me a dance I could use as a kata if I wanted!!!"
She beamed brightly then started swaying about slowly as if she were hearing a song that existed only in her mind. She was just about to take the first step when...
"Wha-whaaa!!!!"
SPLASH!
Ryoko would be seen falling backwards into the waters of the hot spring as she slipped on the surface beneath them! She surfaced a moment or two later, clearly very embarrassed by what just happened!

Oh, how fortunate! You've made friends that enjoy theater! There is hope for you after all, Sakura-ch...
The Yokai is cut off as the little Asako falls into the water trying to dance. The tone that was pleased for one moment seems a little more annoyed in the next. Okay, maybe not that one. If she's that clumsy now, I can only imagine what she'll be like on-stage.

...I am fairly certain that the fact she is trying to dance in a hot spring, where the footing is awkward and the ground slick, is more to blame than any clumsiness. I am sure she will be better actual on stage.
Sakura looks at the Asako, tilting her head slightly, "Asako-sama, generally, dancing is best suited to dryer environments. But I understand your enthusiasm. I am sure you are quite skilled in normal circumstances."
