A Daidoji in the dojo, no big surprise. Daidoji Satoru was taking advantage of the general absence of life at the school to work on improving his combat speed, with short rounds of meditation in between. Nothing glamorous, nothing scandalous or full of intrigue. He wasn't about that life, nor did he ever intend to be. The fun police have cuffed him and lead him away one too many times for him to take risks with his future. With three years left to get good or die trying, he wasn't going to blow his time at some party that would simply serve to complicate his life. He wasn't fond of throwing pity-parties either, so when he saw how heavily outclassed he was in Kenjutsu, he decided he would do something about rectifying that rather than quit and change course. He still saw winning against the other Daidoji as a stroke of luck. The other kid was better than him--he could sense it. And the more he thought on it, the harder he trained. So deep in what he was doing, he probably wouldn't notice anybody walking in unless they tried to get his attention. Bayushi Nomen

The noise from the dojo as she passed caught Nomens attention; was everyone not at the party? Quietly, she made her entrance, looking as the boy as he trained, studying him from the side for now, although as close as she could easily get D3 evening sneaking up on a Crane: 10d10ro1o10k4 28
