Joo-Eun shakes her head, "Fortunes, no. I just don't want to hurt her if my actions cause me to do something stupid because of you. Priya was the one who encouraged me to talk to you about my feelings and to try and figure out what I want. And I do want to be more than just a friend...but...I don't know how much more. I do know kissing you feels right and that holding you close feels right...but...um..."
The Utaku blushes, leaving the fact that she is very much a virgin unsaid. Because Mako would know that for sure and certain.

"I'm not going to drag you into my bed." She said it... very bluntly, as she ran a hand up her friend's arm, to rest on Joo-Eun's cheek, "I've slept with other people. Yes. It's true. But..." She hesitated, as she held her friend, and stared into her eyes. "I wanna have you tell me, what you want. When you want." She was so happy about what she was saying, and she kissed Joo-Eun again, "I won't love you any less, as a friend or a girlfriend, just because you don't want to jump into bed."

Joo-Eun nods a little, running a hand through Mako's hair gently, "Mako, I'm aware. Fortunes, I mean, I have met Priya. And...I know you are open, I know you love people other than me, and I know that that means you have been intimate with them. I want to try, eventually, and...I want you to be my first if when I do, because I trust you, Mako."
The Utaku's deliberate lack of honorifics is her way of trying to show Mako how much she means to her. And probably unintentionally revealing her own growing feelings for another, given how she is referring to them in a similar manner, even if she isn't entirely cognizant of it.

Was Mako's reply to all that heartfelt discussion - she didn't even notice the comment on Priya, or lack of formality, perhaps. Instead she was practically tackling Joo-Eun into the hotspring, nuzzling all over her face and just so happy, "I'll make sure you're happy! And ready! And I'll protect you from anyone! And we'll be great! And if you want I'll still help you find a boy, for eventually!" She was so happy-happy-joy-happy about her old 'girlfriend' becoming her actual girlfriend, "I swear I'll be worthy of your trust!" |

Would uh, would your roommate be okay with that? Or... I could call a car? And I mean... I mean cuddling, I promise. Pinky swear!"
