As he has done every day in the previous two years, except for the day before, Yoruga started his day with a visit to the temple. He felt kinda bad for missing that the previous day, but well yesterday was special. Otomo Mochihime had gone to her room to change or something, so he arrived alone. He checked if Asahina Momiko was around, but did not spot her. He frowned and entered the main temple. Once he had greeted by name the monks that tended it, he headed to the statue of Jurojin and lit up some essences before starting praying. |

Momiko is there already, in her school uniform, hands together in front of her as she stands with her back against a wall, looking around curiously.

It didn't take him long to make his usual circle, with the addition of Benten. That was new, since Mochihime happened. Once done he started to head to the garden when he noticed the Crane. He turned in order to approach her and made a small bow once there.
"Blessings upon you and yours, Asahina-san. Have you had rice today?" He greeted her.

Momiko bowed back, "Ohaiyo, Yoruga-sama, I most certainly have. And you can call me by my chosen name if you wish; I've certainly trusted you with more than that already."

He nodded.
"Ok, Momiko-san. Have you been waiting long? I was heading to the gardens. Will you join me?"

"Nope, not long at all. Maybe ten or so?"
She stood up straight and adjusted one of her sneakers before nodding, "Ready when you are."

"So how was your date?"
He asked as he started walking towards his favorite stand. It was the one beneath a willow tree. He reached into is backpack and took the bag with tobacco from it and started rolling.

Momiko blinked as she walked, trying to... "Oh, you mean the picnic? That was fine. Those Dragon really are a philosophical lot though; I swear we spent more time talking philosophy than eating or enjoying nature. Which wasn't bad... just not the most comfortable."

He lit up the smoke.
"The only Dragon I hang out with is Rey-chan and she is not that into philosophy." He exhaled a cloud of smoke as he sat on the bench.
"Did he bore you?"

Mochihime saunters in and after ritually cleansing her hands does the tour of the Temple, lighting incense and kneeling in prayer in front of each of the major Fortunes. She doesn't really lean towards Fortunism, but well, she's a priestess and such powerful entities deserve respect. They have a higher standing in the Celestial Order than her after all.
She spots Yoruga and the Crane girl heading towards the gardens, so after wrapping up her devotions she hurries up after them.
"Ohayo, mina-sans! Whatsup?"
