Kogeki then comes into the club, still in his cooking whites. He spots Tarik and gives him a small nod as he walks over. "Sup bro, so um.. is it try outs or....do I just sign up?" he spots the Strange shy Utaku and gives her a small wave as well.

Isao smiled at Utaku Hitomi and declined his head. "Well, knowing you're here, I am glad I joined," he offered with a grin. Isao gave a wave to Gyushi Kogeki as he stood with Tarik. Likewise, he bowed to Otomo Katsumi. The Crane watched the students shoot and decided he'd go ahead and give it a shot as well. He knew he was outclassed but enjoyed kyudo all the same. Isao walked out onto the range beside the Tsuruchi and Utaku as he removed his yumi and quiver from their sleeves. He then stuck an arrow into the pitched and began to string his bow as he watched the others, smiling all the while. |

Otomo Katsumi raises an eyebrow at her newest entrant. She turns to look at Tarik for a moment and then chuckles. "Well then Gyushi-San pick up a bow and take a shot." She nods her head to where Kakita Isao is stringing up his bow. "If you want I can string the bow for you or you can attempt it yourself. This is something you will have to learn."

Ryouko tsked at Tarik's shot, crossing her arms. "Damn that's as good as my first shot!" She said, obviously a bit annoyed, though it turned quickly into a smile. "Maybe you're a natural, Tarik-san!" The Utaku shot the gaijin a wink. "We'll make a warrior out of you."

Once the Crane had strung his bow he lifted it up and plucked his arrow from the earth. A tsuki cord was used to tie back his left sleeve, allowing him to fire unhindered. He held the yumi in his left hand and with his right nocked the arrow. He drew the bamboo bow tight, the motion smooth as he aimed briefly down the length of the arrow. A moment later he released and the arrow whistled through the air before slamming into the target, striking the outermost ring. It was an average shot but demonstrated that he could, in fact, shoot a bow. OOC: Reflexes/Kyujutsu 21 |

He returned the nod to Gyushi Kogeki. "Not much. Thanks for being here, I appreciate it. Nah, people are just showing off and beefing about the captaincy." Kakita Isao's enthusiasm at spotting Hitomi wasn't missed to him and he shot an inquisive look at him. "Someone is feeling lucky, I see." He whispered to him, as he left to take his shot. He ignored Katsumi's look and chuckle, she was less careful than he would prefer. Instead he focused on Utaku Ryouko and chuckled at her joke. "Nah, I am pacifist. I couldn't." |

The spider walks over to the bows with a nod, he looks down at the bow a moment, picking it up, taking the arrow and just...fiddling with them a bit. Finally he looks up in confusion. "I have no idea how to string this thing. Where do you put the arrow?" he asks in dull confusion.

Ryoko lined up to take her shot, taking a calm, deep breath before letting go of the draw string. The shot rang true as it struck the target. She smiled to herself then looked over to Kogeki as she moved closer to the Spider. The tiny Phoenix offered, "May I show you, Spider-sama?" then reached out for the bow. |

He turns to the Asako and gives a bright nod. "Yeah that would be great thanks. Sorry, heard the club needed more people and it would be a cool skill to learn but this looks way easier in the movies."

Otomo Katsumi nods her approvingly. Excellent they have enthusiasm I am not quite sure what it is that Tarik bribed them with. I care not if they sign up. I will be most pleased. She smiles quite pleased so far. "So then not one to put much on it. Is anyone who is joining interested in being captain of the club or should I choose?"
