Utaku Hitomi raises her hand. "I can be the captain if you desire me to be Otomo-Sama. Though if we were to base it on skill I feel Tsurichi-San would be the better choice." She looks over to the Tsuruichi. "She was a better shot then I after all."

"Sensei, I would never question your judgment on whom should be captain, but I agree with Utaku-san. Either she or Tsuruchi-san should be captain."
She then turned back to Kogeki and began showing the boy how to properly string the bow, explaining that when it's being stored or carried it should always be left as it currently is so as to keep from damaging the weapon. "And "whatever you do, don't release the draw string unless you plan on firing an arrow. The energy can potentially break the bow if there isn't an arrow notched when you release. Instead, hold onto the string and just gently relax your grip, allowing your arm to bring the bowstring back."

Ryouko looked amused at the group of recruits. "Now please don't mind me, as I unfortunatly will not be joining this club, but... wouldn't you say the captain should be someone with good knowledge of the subject, and a willingness to help without being asked to?" The Unicorn asked, looking pointedly at the Pheonix with a smirk.

Tarik smiled at Ryouko.
"Utaku-san speaks wisely. I believe that Asako-san has already displayed traits that will make her an ideal leader." He said.
"I hope that this is not mistaken as an affront to the skills of the other samurai that might be interesting in assuming the captaincy of this club. In case it does, I apologise in advance for both me and my friend, who spoke before me."

"I'd support either Utaku Hitomi or Tsuruchi Natsu for the position as captain, for what it's worth," Isao chimed in, having seen both shoot since they had arrived. "It's a matter of who wants it now, right?"

Kogeki nods as he follows on the example, stringing and unstringing the bow a few times. "Ok so..fire without an arrow, it explodes. Got it." he says as he practices to try to learn the skill. "Uh... yeah you maybe should be Captain Asako-san. You can help us new people."

Natsu looks around. "I... I am willing to take the post, though Asako-senpai's commitment to teaching is commendable enough for her to receive due respect of serious consideration as well. I am..." she pauses, blushing a little. "I am very honoured that people consider me worthy for such a position."

Otomo Katsumi closes her eyes in thought. "Very well. Since Utaku Hitomi has shown a willingness to step aside for Tsuruchi Natsu-San I will consider her bowing out." She nods to the young Utaku. "However Asako-San has also expressed a desire to step aside in favor of Utaku Hitomi-San and Tsuruchi Natsu-San. With that said I will ask Asako-San if she is sure she still stands that Tsuruchi Natsu-San should be captain?"

Ryoko bowed to Katsumi in acknowledgement, "Didn't Shinsei say following in my footsteps will not lead you to what I have found?" She smiled, clarifying, "Hai, sensei. I don't mind assisting the captain in teaching other members, but the Fortunes..." She frowned a little. "The Fortunes often seem to take delight in my misfortune and I don't know that that's something you want for a captain."

Natsu bows towards the Phoenix. "I... I am very honoured by your words, Asako-sama," she says. "And I would be equally honoured to have someone so magnanimous a teacher offering assistance to those who wish to learn."
She bows. "Of course, anyone wishing to learn can approach me as well. I am most humbled by everyone's words."
