If the Dragon was feeling underdressed and uncomfortable being in such a fancy restaurant, Koshiro was feeling even more so when he finally arrives. Geez, I'd have to save for two weeks just to be able to eat here once! Water should be free, right? Right? He looks around before finally spotting the trio. "Ahoy, friends. Sorry I'm late. This place is a bit... too fancy for my tastes to be honest. And likely too heavy for my wallet."

"I'll pay," Kobushi says casually. The boy clearly doesn't mind the idea. "I'm ordering food here anyway, and it'd look even weirder if all four of us just got in there, sat down, and didn't eat anything."
"I mean, it's weird enough that we're following Horiuchi-san on her date. Isn't it?"
Did you really have to say it out loud, Kobushi? Yes, yes you probably did.

Hinata sighed, frowning.
"Thank you, Daidoji-san. And yes, yes it is. But...Tamori-san wanted to make sure she was safe, so I do too."
She looked at the restaurant.
"Besides, this is a good excuse to eat at a high class restaurant, neh? Shall we head in?"

Koshiro tilted his head with a look of confusion. "Wait, we're following someone? I thought we were just meeting for lunch. Who are we following?" He glances around the place, wondering what the heck he just got himself into.

Hinata nodded at Koshiro.
"Tamori-san wanted us to make sure Horiuchi-san was going to be okay. She is on a date with a gaijin boy."
She looked at the couple eating on the patio of the restaurant.
"Though...he seems to be doing nothing untoward. Are you sure about this, Tamori-san?"

"The one of us who's missing," Yoshi explains to Koshiro. He points over to Nadeshiko on her date with Rodrigo, then looks to Kobushi and Hinata. "Well... I honestly hadn't really known how expensive this place was, but if you're ok with paying, Daidoji-san... going in would probably be the best plan. The patio is pretty empty since it's overcast today, so we could get some close seats without tipping our hands." Yoshi was in logic-mode now, which as a bonus made him somewhat more decisive, but as Hinata voices her concerns, Yoshi is given a moment of pause.
"Well... we told her we'd look out for her, just like we did for you, right?" Yoshi replies eventually to Hinata. Loyalty and reciprocality were difficult to argue against.

Hinata's frown deepened, but she nodded.
"You are right. It cannot hurt to make sure. If she gets suspicious we can simply tell her why we are here, I am sure she will understand."
She clucked her tongue.
"I just hope he will as well."

"Worst-case scenario, they see us and we tell them we're here for the food. Which is essentially true. I mean, we are all hungry, aren't we? Or tell her the whole truth. Whichever plan you guys think works best."

She shook her head, her jaw set.
"I have told enough of those. I am not telling any more."

He nods. "The truth, then."
"Speaking of which, I have some news that may or may not be distressing to hear. And we should probably be sitting down when I tell it, just in case."
