Eito has gone out to eat for Lunch today, at one of his new favorite Sushi places after one of his new favorite students showed him how good the food was there. Still he didn't want to be bothered too much while he ate so he asked for the room he was in to be set aside for him, a simple swipe of his card making it a reality. As he reads his menu and his Padd he is unaware of Togashi Yia or how or why she was let back in. Maybe she snuck in? Maybe it was an honest mistake but she would find the Spider Sensei there, reading up on the news and waiting.

Yia hadn't come to be treated special or fancy. She rarely ever was - she was still wearing her usual teaching outfit, and just wanted to get lunch before having to go back to her tea club. Instead, she got waved in and directed by a very insistent member of staff that her date was already there in the back. And that's how she ended up standing in the doorway to where Eito was eating, blinking. Confused, and just a little bit annoyed at how she was talked over, but she gave a bow, "You... were not waiting for me, correct?" She raised an eyebrow as she lifted her head still in the bow, "The staff seemed to think that you were awaiting someone, and that I must be her... I apologize for intruding." She lifted herself from the bow, and then looked over Eito, "Togashi Yia." She introduced herself.
Her mind was split on things to do - she could barge back out to the front, and make a scene over how they had disrespected her... she could just leave for the disrespect.... or she could try and make friends with someone wealthy enough to buy private rooms.
Greed was a terrible vice.

Eito glances up with some slight confusion, he turns off his pad and sets it down before he stands and gives a low bow. "I...was not waiting for you but I can see where they got the misconception. I was not waiting for anyone actually so if you wish to join me you are more then welcome. Shibatsu Eito. I am a teacher at the local school and a businessman, of sorts." he says ever so pleasantly, gesturing for her to sit across from him. "I would never turn down the company of such a lovely woman."

A fan was pulled out, and her face blocked slightly as he complimented her, stepping inside just a little, "I too am a teacher." She said it gently, taking one more step, before speaking again, "Though not a businesswoman." The upturn of the young teacher's face was enough to show her smile, even with her cheeks and mouth blocked by the green-dragon fan, "Thank you for the invitation." She said it as she sat, bowing her head, "I had intended to eat alone but... company is often preferable." As she sat, she looked over the menu, and there was a teeny, tiny tummy rumble, which caused her to cough in an attempt to cover it, "My... apologies."

Eito grins at the gesture. "On most occasions I would compliment you on your most lovely fan if I did not feel wronged at missing out on the beauty it hid." he says in his ever so smooth voice before he nods. "Company and conversation are always preferable. Keeps one from getting too lost in their own thoughts." Then the rumble hits and he shakes his head. "Forgiven. We must all obey the orders of our Lords." he says patting his stomach lightly. "Your manners are impeccable though. If I didn't know the etiquette teacher I would wonder if that was your position."

She laughed softly at the comment on the etiquette teacher, and her own manners, "It's not my area of expertise, but it's an invaluable skill we should all know, no?" Her eyes twinkled softly, even as she noted down what she wanted, "No, I teach the ancient art of tea ceremony, as well as the art of sincerity. For what is more valuable than speaking with conviction, and honoring our ever-present arts?" She lowered her fan, finally, and there was no blush to her pale skin - which was only more washed out looking with her white hair - "What is it you teach, mm? Is it a rude assumption if I presume something related to business?"

Eito nods. "It is an important skill to have, I agree." he says as he looks at what she is eying on the menu, raising a brow as he examines the options. "Worthy classes to take, I myself do indeed teach the economics class, what a clever eye. I also teach the Ethics of Shourido." he says softly, letting that subject drop as he watches her. Most people react to that as a personalized confession that he was a scoundrel and dishonorable man, which he supposes he was but he also put different values on those accusations. "I understand that subject may trouble some people but I also assure you, this is a private room, and I am very difficult to offend so you can speak as freely and openly as you wish and I will never judge or tell. Or you may do otherwise and I will match you so as not to offend you. Sounds like a deal Togashi-san?"

"Shourido." She stared at the man for a long time, her smile like a Doji, as she refused to show anything before he moved on and finished his sentences. At that, she relaxed... slightly, "I'm not going to call you a scoundrel for what you believe is right, Shibatsu-san. We all walk our own paths. So long as you are a just person, who does not hurt others for the sake of doing so... who am I to judge?" She reminds, for a second, that she is, in fact, a Togashi, as she speaks of her tolerance, "Your path is not wrong, just for being different. And even those who walk different paths can meet, and be friendly, to guide each other further, no?"

"I have no interest in hurting others or being unjust. I am happy that you are of a similar mind to mine when it comes to paths. I for one seak guidance on as many paths as I can since it helps strengthen my own. Lovely and open minded. It does allow me to be unconventionally freindly and treat you to a fine meal because it would please me to do so."

"I could never accept such an offered gift." She could. She would like to. But she needed to be proper, even if having someone else pay for her meal would be very nice, "I will suffice with the company, Shibatsu-san."
