Stepping into the long open Halls of the school, Yoshi thought to himself on the matter. Steel yourself man, today you rid yourself of these doubts. Lifting his head high he would march into the now dense hallways towards the location he agreed to meet his Companion.
His uniform was pressed, his hair neatly combed, his mask polished. He was prepared for the upcoming meeting. Should things go south, a line of questions were already prepared and rehearsed, ready to an exaggerated extent.

Utaku Hitomi walked up behind Bayushi Yoshikatsu. She bowed to the young man. "Hello Bayushi-San. It's a pleasure to see you again." She offers the boy a smile.

Swiftly turning to her, Yoshi would immediately bow in turn. "Hitomi-chan, thank you for meeting me again. I'm glad that you didn't reject my ask to meet you on such short notice."
Pausing momentarily he rose to meet her, his expression Stern and rather serious now. "For the past few days since we last met something has been plaguing my mind, this matter concerns you..."

She blinks a few times confused. Though for a moment a familiar burst crosses her chest. "Bayushi-San I do not recall us being close enough that I had allowed you the use of my given name." Her eyes harden for a moment before she shakes her head. "I apologize... I am not well versed in the ways of more informal interactions. Still I would like you to understand I prefer it if you would just call me Utaku-San for the time being. Until we get to know each other better that is."

"of course, that is the thing though Utaku-chan. I would very much like it if we became better acquainted."
Bowing deeply before her he would speak up sharply. "Since our last meeting, I've become enamored by you. forgive me for being so bold but, I fear that if I do not approach you now I may not receive another chance." Taking a deep breath he spoke up once more with a swiftness. "Would you perhaps consider it, you are more than free to reject me!"

She blinks a few times. "Oh... I see..." She looks away. "Uhhh I'm sorry Bayushi-San. I didn't realize we were that close." She swallows nervously Honesty was a thing after all. "I could stand to get to know you better sure. But if you are saying what I think you are... I'm sorry I'm just not... I don't know you that well." She shakes her head. At any rate... She had a crush on someone else...

raising his head up with a faint smile. "I-I understand and I thank you for your consideration." He seemed a bit upset about her answer but still upbeat. "however I do wish to ask one last things, I was interested in getting together with the unicorn clan...I know its not particularly normal for scorpions to look for allies with other clans but, me and a colleague of mine are tired of the bickering with other clans. I wish to try and form a truce with the unicorns."

She frowns. "Oh... I confess I'm not the best person to talk to about the Unicorns." She lowers her head. "I spent most of my life sheltered. I didn't have any real friends until... well I'm not sure if I have any yet." She sighs. "I mean... I'm sure with time you could be a friend Bayushi-San. But... I'm afraid I am not the best person to talk with. Of course I will gladly help you with peace. I strongly believe in peace as well."

He was visibly excited at her response. "That is wonderful to hear, if I can unite our respective clans into a sort of truce we will most assuredly flourish."
