"Only if you ~want~ to play. I mean, I'm not going to hide my comics or cards from you any more certainly, but I'm not expecting you to take up my hobbies, Yoshi-kun. Especially not all of them. What are YOUR hobbies anyways? We don't talk about those much."

"Oh, I mostly enjoy reading," he informs her. There's a look of gratitude upon his face, both for selflessly telling him he didn't need to take up her interests as well as asking him about his own. "History is one of my favorite subjects, either historical fiction or actual history books, but I'll read anything; Sci-fi, Fantasy, Romance, whatever. Otherwise... I guess I don't do much else in my free time. I meditate a lot? It's... calming. Sometimes... I also sing; just to myself, though." He flushes hotly at having admitted this secret pastime to her and immediately tries to deflect to another topic.
"I really would like to try something new, though," he adds quickly. "Even better if it's something we can do together."

"Hmmm... well, I never did show you the library. And it sounds like you didn't include comics in the list of things you read... maybe those are some ideas?"

"Oh, I'd love to see the library next time I'm over," Yoshi replies excitedly, Momiko feeling a happy little unconscious squeeze of her knee at the same time. He imagines a sort of Beauty and the Beast animated movie library-reveal scenario. "I do like comics too though. I'm a member of the Anime/Manga Club, after all. It's just... I rarely ever bought any, and the stuff at the public library was never current, so I couldn't get as into them as the kids who could afford to buy new stuff right away."

"I buy them all the time at the comic shop down on 20th. I even have my own section there called 'Momo's recommendations', since all the staff and kids know me as Momo there~"
She blushes a tiny bit at the nickname.

"You have a second alter-ego, Momiko-chan?" Yoshi asks with a grin, teasingly nudging her shoulder with his own. After the nudge, though, he stays in contact rather than backing off to his previous position, feeling a new and intense urge to get even closer. This latest revelation, of her being not just a fan of super sentai comics specifically but an actual visual-literature aficionado, has excited the young Dragon bookworm even more.

Her blush deepens a little, "W-What can I say? I've made it a habit of hiding the things I'm embarrassed about from people. Or at least in a way that keeps things separate, you know?"

"You don't have to keep anything separate from me; not anymore," he promises. The sentiment in his words, issuing sincerely from his heart, coupled with the blush on her cheeks and stammer in her voice, are too much for Yoshi to resist. He leans in to kiss her again, softly but with strong affection.

Momiko makes a 'mewf' like sound of surprise into the kiss, but soon has her jacket clad arms draped over Yoshi's shoulders. The smooth material brushes his neck as she gives little pecks and coos.

This likely goes on for some time, the gentle, inexpert kissing of two people held back by uncertainty as much as propriety.
"I'm... I'm really attracted to you, Momiko-chan," Yoshi says, taking a moment to catch his breath and probably state the obvious. "This is all going so fast, though... I... I didn't mean to even go this far so soon... but... I couldn't help myself." It struck him as wrong to implicitly apologize for something that had felt so good, but he still had a nagging feeling he was going about this wrong and should be waiting rather than giving in to his desires.
"I don't think we should go further until... we're both sure about how we feel about each other... how committed we are," he says, speaking as much to himself as he is to her. "So... at least once we're dating exclusively... and... maybe even... in love. I... don't feel like I'd be respecting you... unless we wait until then." He looks at her with eyes full of checked desire and hope, the latter being that she'll understand his hesitation.
