Akane had her hood up now, "And in case you didn't know, this is just practice! Try the handoffs as many times as you want, switch roles... get a feel for it! If you wanna race each other go ahead, but we're not having an organized one just yet."

Since starting seemed to be on a "On your own time" schedule, Tsubasa waited until Akodo Ichiro was ready before starting to run down the path. She was pretty athletic but this was her first time in a relay race. As she neared Ichiro's starting point she held out the baton like she'd seen Akane do, not slowing down as she watched for him to start running to take it. Baton Pass:: 8, 8, 7, 3 |

Ichiro saw Yasuki Tsubasa nearing and began his run he did a fair job of matching her pace he had a small bungle with the baton at first but the transfer was successful and he was off. He ran for a bit before slowing and turning he yelled back "now want to try it the other way around?" Baton receive: 9, 3, 4, 10 |

With everyone ready, Kobushi decides to try. He's quick, but not the quickest as he goes for passing the baton. He's kind of hoping that Koshiro can make up for his inexperience in this sort of thing. Baton Pass: 8, 6, 3 |

Tsubasa quickly darted back to where Ichiro had started, raising a hand to motion him to move back far enough so that he had to run the same distance she had first.
"GO FOR IT AKODO-SAN, I"M READY."

With all the batons passed to others, Koshiro goes to the receiving line and prepares as he waits to receive the baton from Kobushi. He had little confidence in his ability to receive it properly, but hopes for the best. ((Receive Roll: 9 3 Matching 3, woot~)) Aaaaand he just barely successfully receives it. The Crane was faster than him, that much was certain, but the pass was still successful and the ronin boy takes off with the baton, running as fast as his legs can take him before reaching the end line. "That wasn't so bad. Nice pass," he comments to Kobushi as he catches his breath after the run. |
