There was no one creature in particular that fit that role - however, their were records of animals that had wandered into other realms being affected by the touch of said realm. Salamanders and turtles that had wandered into sakkaku and become kappa, others who had wondered into Chikushudo and been morphed into beastly versions of themselves. Perhaps this cat had done so and found its way back to Ningendo?

He listens to the Seppun, hears the explanation. The influence of a Spirit Realm, rather than a creature directly from it. He wasn't sure if that made things better or worse. This was not his area of expertise.
"In the shopping district, sensei. Late at night. It seemed as if it was following us around for a while before it showed itself." He pauses. "Akodo Ichiro-san currently has the kitten that it turned into."
"It seemed intent on getting away once we were able to corner it. And the vines were strong enough to pin a man to a wall and bruise him from the force."

Koko was interested in this as she hears the explanations. She knew not all spirits were nice spirits. The Kami had told her that the forest spirits would go back to Chikushudo if they were awoken. Koko frowned.

She bows quickly to the sensei and slips in besides Asurito with a bright smile.

"Hey!" The herald whispers to Reiha. "Apparently a wooden tiger attacked some people in the mall and then turned into a kitten. Akodo Ichiro san has it now. Wanna check it out later? I can text him."

"Oh wow! Sure, I guess, though is it really safe to have kittens who can turn into wooden tigers in your dorm room?" She frowns. "Seems more like a Sakakku thing than a denizen from Chikushudo..."

The Miya takes her cellphone out of her pocket and sends a text to the Lion. "We'll see if everyone at the dorms survive the night, I guess." She jokes. "Text sent. I really hope he says yes. He's a really nice guy. I keep meeting him everywhere I go."

Koko kept quiet thinking about the Akodo's bellybutton. It was a nice one... She could ask them but Koko had better things to do or other people to bother... Like Kiki... Where is Kiki? Koko started walk in circles pacing.
