Ichiro bows again to the sensei "as I said I will do what you think is best sensei. Though I would request that if it is found to be safe that I be allowed to keep it and raise it."

"Sensei... I can try something... besides isn't the realm of chaos one filled with deceit and plans with its own?" Koko asked. "There are other ways to test for taint beside jade. She took out her phone. I may have a spell that could work in telling if the creature is tainted or not."

Kojima was not priest so that was a matter outside of his understanding.
"Ordinarily, spells should not be used outside of classes selected for their use," the Imperial spoke, half trying to remember the school policy. He hadn't studied it as it didn't pertain to him - he only needed to be mindful for unruly children. "However... I will authorize its use this one time."

The spell does indeed fail - the cat does not appear to carry any taint.
