She cast her line in the open area in the middle of where Nade cast her line. It was pretty clear that she had no idea on what to do or how to fish.

Ryoko, on the other hand, just went over to the lake with rod in hand and casts it into the water without any bait. It's pretty clear she doesn't know how to fish, and that may be a good thing for the fishies!

"Asako San it will be difficult to attract the fish come to you if you have no bait." Yoko explained. "Let's see how many you guys come up with?"
(So roll Sport: fishing/str 15 or Lore: Tropical Fish/str 10 to cast and see how many fish you get successful roll will get you 1 common fish and every 5 over will bring an additional fish if you raise 1 you get uncommon fish and 2 raises gets you a rare fish. Unbaited fishing add 5 to the TN.)

Nade manages to bungle her second cast, the hook getting caught in some driftwood a few feet from her intended target. A soft sigh escapes her lips at her mistake before she takes off her shorts to wade through the thankfully shallow water to retrieve her hook, muttering under her breath the whole way. Likewise, Ryoko's line gets tangled up in some reeds under the surface of the water. The Asako girl frowns a little but seems completely averse to entering the water to retrieve her hook. "Ano...sensei...?" 9

Nade sighs a bit and wades over to where Ryoko's line is, fidgeting under the water to pull it free and set the reeds right.
"I've got you Asako-san, just be careful you don't hook me pulling it back"

She reeled in her line and got nothing. "I thought this works all the time." She looked at Yokohime a little sad that she didnt catch anything. 11 orokos.com/roll/595620

Yokohime shook her head. She decided to show them how it is done since it seems that the students didn't have a clue to how to fish. "Follow my lead..." 4 fish came along. "These are Koi. They are common in ponds they are also used for home decoration." ( Lore: Tropical Fish Str TN10 for Fishing: 10d10o10k3 24... You can now try to roll with a -5 to the TN and TELL ME WHICH SKILL YOU ARE USING IN THE TAG! Sport or lore... >.<)

She nodded and tried again. This time ir went ro a different spot on the lake near the shoreline. She wasnt sure if it would work. She was just about to give up, untill she felt a tug on the line. Mayumi got excited. "I think i got one!" She said as some line went out. Almost forgetting to reel it in. The fish put up a little fight. But it was easy enough to bring in. It was a small little guy. Not big enough to eat. "What kind of fish is this sense?" ((15 lore orokos.com/roll/595806 The first roll i made a mistake on the fomula))

Ryoko makes another cast, humming patiently as she waits for something, anything to happen with her line. Then it starts to tug a little and she gets excited, jerking the line and hooking the fish to it! She reels in the fish and smiles, eyes shimmering at what she has on the other end... ... and looking very very hungry... ( 14 Lore: Tropical Fish)
