"Oh that sounds lovely and I don't mind picking up the tab for anyone who might not be able to afford it. What are friends for after all?"

Momiko, at least, was a little thrown off by the boy's appearance, "Th-Thank you, Koshiro-san. And certainly not THAT small of a gathering. You say this is a kind of group then?"

"Horiuchi-san seems to be pretty generous. I know we're supposed to refuse gifts a few times but we're all friends, we don't need to worry about that right? Also it's a pleasure to meet you Koshiro-san."

Koshiro nods at Tsubasa and shrugs at Momiko. "Eh, we're just a small group of friends that regularly meet up for lunch and other activities. They saw fit to invite a ronin like me to this little group, so they're all pretty decent folk." He checks his cup noodles and stirs the noodles a bit before closing the lid again. "So what be new today?"

Nadeshiko took a moment to pass one of the dwindling pile of Anpans to Koshiro.
"We were talking about cooking, about our families a bit and not much else so far."

Kobushi simply listens. Family was sort of a touchy subject for him. What with his father being a controlling traditionalist who insisted he pick on a traditional and proper Daidoji role. Either be in the army or be a bodyguard. At least the second option wasn't something he objected to, with this pointless blood feud hanging over the heads of the Crane and Dragon.

"I took a law class this morning and of all things... a Marine Biology one out by the lake. There was nothing else so I felt like it!"
She turns to gaze at Kobushi then with an I told you so look in her eyes.
"Told you you needed a helmet"

Koshiro accepts the bread as he listens to people. "I see. Just Spellcraft and Gym this morning for me. Hmm? My family? Uhmm... I'm adopted, there's that. Mom's been taking care of me ever since she found me. No dad. Helped her with doing construction work. Now I'm here. Regular stuff, really." Koshiro begins eating his noodles like nothing he said was out of the ordinary.
