Akane casually popped a chunk of chicken in her mouth as the music started up and some people started moving to the dance floor.

Without waiting for an answer, Kumataro slid off the bar stool and offered a hand to Akane.

She gave a longing look to what was on her plate, over to Kuma, then back, "Sorry, food rules say no. Lemme finish these quick."
She went right to eating, doing so quickly, seemingly so she wouldn't make him wait long.

He picked up his own kebab and started eating again as well.

Kumataro sighed and slapped both sides of his face with his hands to snap himself out of his sad puppy state.
"Right! Good point."
He began to dig into his own kebab with renewed vigor.

Done with the kebabs now, Kuma suddenly finds Akane pressed up against his arm, looking up at him, "Aaaaaaall done. All yours now, neh?"
From a glance, she had finished her sake refill too.

Kumataro grinned down at her. "Right! Let's get out there." He took her took her by the hand and practically dragged her out to the dance floor. He began to dance, and... he wasn't much of a dancer. But hey, at least he seemed to be putting his heart into it and having fun? |

For Akane's part... she was the school dance instructor, and it showed. Her body flowed around her dance partner like living fire, Akane looking like she was having the time of her life as she stayed close to Kuma, body occasionally touching his own. |
