Both players make either an Artisan: Plastic Models (Awareness) or Craft: Plastic Models (Intelligence) check, most emphasis applicable. Higher value gains a static +2k0 bonus on the first Games: Build Fighter (Reflexes) roll. Tied values mean this bonus is lost, and neither player gains it. [RP: At this stage, players are essentially showing off their models, either in how artistic and pretty it looks (Artisan) or how well constructed it is (Craft).]
Next, players will make a series of three to five (depending on the tournament) Games: Build Fighter (Reflexes) rolls. Higher score gains a "hit" upon the opponent. Tied values gives a hit to both players. [RP: Here, the players are maneuvering, firing, using special abilities or hidden gimmicks, hoping to gain the upper hand in the fight.]
First player to get a majority of hits (2 hits in a 3 roll game and 3 hits in a 5 roll game) wins the match.
Tournaments themselves can be either bracket style, or in 3v3 or 5v5 format where each team (school, whatever) has 3 (or 5) players participating in 3 (or 5) 1v1 matches. The school that has the most winners is the victor.

In the case of a 3v3 or 5v5 match, the rules change as follows:
Instead of making an Artisan or Craft roll, the Team Leaders will make a Contested Battle/Perception Roll each round. The Team Leader who beats the other by a value of 10 or more gains a +1k0 to his next Games: Build Fighters/Reflexes roll. This bonus scales for every 10 points they beat the opponent by, for a max of +3k0.
The team as a whole will make a Games: Build Fighters/Reflexes roll by rolling individually and averaging the results. The team with the higher roll scores a "Battle Shift" hit against the opponent.
First team to gain either 2 or 3 Battle Shifts (depending on if the game is a 3 roll or 5 roll match) wins the battle.
