Doji Nishikawa Age: 47 Title: Principle Gender: Male Height: 5'6" Weight: 135 lbs Hair: Long, black Eyes: Light Blue  Doji Nishikawa is a former teacher, turned guidance counselor, and for the past few decades the Principal of Rokugan High School. He was a once proud student of the academy in his younger, more playful years. In those days Nishikawa was quite notorious for being an unmatched womanizer. The Doji was also a class clown, popular and well liked by everyone. He never took his studies seriously, but did just well enough to pass and make it through to graduate. By the time he had left RHS, Nishikawa had dated a girl from every Great Clan and every family in the Empire, and even wooed a teacher or two if the rumors were to be believed. That all changed as he matured into and adult. Those who knew him in his teenage years would likely not recognize him now, even though Nishikawa aged extremely well. The Doji is more serious and less aloof, a man who enjoys life in a far more scrupulous manner. Perhaps college or his early years as an academic changed him, forcing Nishikawa to take life more seriously. Some believe it may have been a woman, though he is unmarried. Nonetheless, the once infamous playboy is now leading and guiding the young minds of the school as its Principal, all wile maintaining his duty as the Imperial Court's chief nakado. Need advice on classes? Clubs? Love? His door is always open! The Matchmaker Club is advised by him as well; Nishikawa takes equal joy in both a successful young romance blossoming and a lost young student finding his or her way in life. |

Shosuro Hironobu Age: 21 Title: Head of Security Gender: Male Height: 5'7" Weight: 150 lbs Hair: Light Green Eyes: Black  Shosuro Hironobu is current Head of Security at RHS, serving his first year in the role after the retirement of Seppun Eiyu. Only three years ago during his third year at RHS, Hironobu served as Captain of the Hall Monitors - the keepers of peace in the school and enforcers of its rules who serve directly under the Head of Security. During the Shosuro's tenure, class skipping, violation of rules and curfew, duels of honor, and general tomfoolery were at an all time low. His excellent work got the attention of Both Nishikawa and Eiyu, who asked Hironobu to accept the school's offer when they approached him a few months ago. Unless approached Hironobu is silent, vigilant, and ever watchful behind the crimson scarf that covers the lower part of his face. He is stern and serious when on duty, taking his job extremely seriously. This can make him seem unapproachable to many, but those who attempt to get to know him outside of his job say he is a very amicable and sociable young man. Principal Nishikawa will say as much and tease him slightly among faculty when he can, which usually earns a sigh from the Shosuro. Hironobu can often be found after hours in the town's restaurant district, usually enjoying a cup of warm sake and a good meal. He is rumored to have a deep love of music (was in the Music Club all three years of High School), sports (he was an excellent soccer player as a young child), and dogs (he lives with his pet Doberman Noru on campus). |

Hiruma Rokujo Age: 24 Title: Guidance Counselor Gender: Female Height: 5'2" Weight: 115 lbs Hair: Short, black Eyes: Black  Hiruma Rokujo was born into a wealthy family of the Hiruma, her father a member of the clan's kuge. She is the niece of the current Hiruma family daimyo, and has lived a life of ups and downs. She has always had a glib tongue that has served her along side her gift to speak to the kami, favoring the various courts of the Empire from a young age, rather than a desire to live a life in service on the Wall. Not an only child, her father was content to humor Rokujo's less aggressive personality and allow her to follow her own desires and forge her own path rather than be bound to the Crab's ultimate duty. This openness lead Rokujo to Rokugan High School, where her ability to sing was discovered during a talent competition. This lead the Hiruma to leaving school early when a talent agent was able to help convince her father she could make a life as a Pop Idol. Such celebrity status could help the Crab forge allies in an unsuspected way, after all. For many years she had a fairly successful career, and was even betrothed to a member of the Seppun family. However, scandal sometimes rears its head in the lives of many celebrities. At the Emperor's previous Winter Court, Rokujo was accused of having an affair mere weeks before her marriage into the Seppun. Her face was on the cover of tabloids all across Rokugan, causing her family severe dishonor and shame. No one could say if the accusations were true, nor did it matter when most people believed she had been unfaithful to her fiancee. Doji Nishikawa seized the political opportunity, and gave the now forced-into-an-early-retirement singer an opportunity at a new career - a chance to redeem her and her family's honor, serving the Empire's future through its most prestigious school. Her courtly and social skills would make her a prime candidate to replace the recently transferred guidance counselor, and it was easy for Nishikawa to convince Rokujo to take up the job. In her free time, the Hiruma enjoys games of Go, tasting and crafting spirits, and sailing. However, if asked to sing, Rokujo will lose her face and fall into a fit of nostalgic melancholy. She claims she will never sing again. |

In case anyone needs to know, a list of the members of the Emperor's Court and a brief description.
Emperor Iweko II, formerly known as Iweko Seiken - paralyzed from the waist down as a result of an assassination attempt, close to the age of retirement.
Empress Iweko Ayameko, formerly of the Hida - served on the Wall with distinction, blunt but an effective Regent when her husband is away.
Crown Prince Iweko Yoshinobu - 18 years old, and attends RHS in his third year. Many try to approach him but few are successful.
Crown Princess Iweko Kazuko - 13 years old, and close to her gempukku ceremony - many courtiers at RHS whisper rumors that she will attend the school as her brother did.
Emerald Champion - Hida Kenjiro - Skilled duelist, trained by the Dragon Clan. A veteran of the Onyx Wars who has served since the loss of the former Emerald Champion.
Imperial Advisor - Doji Natsuyo - Courtier, artisan, and servant to the throne. She was instrumental in rebuilding the court in Toshi Ranbo after the war, and was rewarded for her efforts
Shogun - Daidoji Muneshige - The son of Daidoji Akeha. With the Crane's increased presence in the courts, the heir to the Daidoji was appointed as leader of the Empire's legions.
Chancellor - Ikoma Sakae - Daughter of Ikoma Hakige, daimyo of the Ikoma. She just graduated from RHS 2 years ago and has quickly ascended the ranks of its society.
Treasurer - Ide Hideshi - former Topaz Champion, he quickly made a name for himself throughout Rokugan as a skilled merchant. He tends to work well with the Phoenix and has many connections with them.
