He brought over one of the tetsuba over for him to use. "You watch or heard of the sport baseball? One way to look at this weapon, is a giant baseball bat." He went over the basic movemnts of the weapon. Kuma might be impressed with his change of attitude toward the class. Or at the very least he is keeping hia word to help and assist those that need help. "Here you try. Careful it is a little heavy." He handed him the tetsuba. It didnt help that Kaizen was really strong. He made those movments look really easy and light.

Kumataro was impressed. And grateful. Maybe he wouldn't have to try to teach so hard today, which with his splitting headache sounded like an excellent idea. Kaizen seemed to have a handle on things with Koshiro, so he just watched them work together, ready to interject some pointers if needed.

Koshiro takes up the tetsubo with ease and swings it around. He chuckles. "I am familiar with heavy weapons, Mitsu-san. I've worked with my mother's construction crew, I've been known to swing a sledgehammer around, sorta like a dai tsuchi. I wouldn't be in this class if I couldn't handle heavy weapons, neh? I was asking about what activity sensei wanted us to do with these bots and all that."

"Oh..." he chuckled a little. "overhead swing. The movement is a downward swing like a hammer hitting the nail." he backed up to give the boy some space. "Go first, i will watch you."

"Sounds simple enough..." Koshiro takes the practice tetsubo with two hands by the handle, raises it over his head, and swings down onto the bot. ((Downward swing: 11 )) ... Okay, seems like it wasn't that simple. |

Kaizen scratched his head not sure what to think. "Try it again. this time, make a horizontal swing." Maybe this boy lacks confidnece... if he hits it he will feel better about it. "Watch and mimic me." he went through a basic side hit.
