Kumataro sat slumped against the wall of the dojo, looking utterly exhausted. He had drank too much last night, and now he had to teach heavy weapons class with a hangover. The prospect did not appeal to him, to say the least. A group of training robots stood scattered around the room. With what he had in mind today, hopefully he wouldn't have to work too hard.

Koshiro enters the room next wearing his gym clothes. He looks around, glad that he wasn't the only student taking this class. He bows towards the Crab and the Badger who were decidedly more swole than him. Hmmm. Yep, the Badger girl is more muscular than him. Damn. Suddenly he feels smaller than he actually is. He takes up a practice tetsubo and waits for class to begin.

Kaizen entered the Dojo and bowed to Kuma. "Yosh." he waved as he put his Oar down. "Its the closest thing to my weapon of choice." he shrugged. "i guess i could take a knife to it and widdle it down."

Koshiro raised an eyebrow at the newcomer. An oar? How peculiar. But awesome. He feels a twinge of jealousy for some reason. Mom wielded an anchor, and then here's a guy wielding an oar? And he was going to whittle it down with a knife?!
"It'd be a shame to damage a nice oar like that. If you're just gonna whittle it down, can I have it instead? I can make you a customized one in replacement." The ronin had no idea who this guy was, but it really is a shame to waste an oar like that.

He rubbed his chin a little as he thought about it. He pulled out his phone and showed him a picture of his Onoken. "can you make one like that?" He showed him the sword.  |

Koshiro looked at the picture and studied it. He frowned. "You... want a wooden sword like that? I'm not entirely sure it'd be stable to wield though, that handle is way too thin to support a heavy-looking top like that." He ponders it. "Maybe a metal handle... but then it would bend and crack the wood against the metal if you were to swing it around... hmmm... this is a puzzle... different woods maybe? That might work... A lighter wood for these parts here... maybe... but it might not have the heft of a proper sword or a heavy weapon..."

"lets keep it simple, like a bokken... but bigger" he made a motion from small to large with his hands. "the balance and weight on this oar is about right. thats why i chose this as my personal practice weapon."
