Under bridges, there were shadows. And in the shadows lurked... really quite pleasant people once you got to know them. A number of the more rustically-inclined teachers over the years at RHS had a usual sake and noodle stand off campus that they favored. It wasn't the best part of town, and the stand was under a bridge, but the noodles were thick, the sake warm, and the man that ran the stand wasn't samurai. It was here that Tamori Yoshi found himself, having happened upon it more by fate than chance, and it was here that he waited for the Breakfast Club core group, minus Koshiro for the safety of his dream. Of course, he and Daidoji Kobushi had a slightly ulterior motive for inviting just Kuni Hinata and Horiuchi Nadeshiko to lunch, rather than any of the extended Club Crew, and that was because they needed their best gal pals' advice... on how to make certain other gals decidedly more than just their pals.

Hinata arrived with her usual punctuality, her uniform still on and her purse slung over her shoulder. She gave Yoshi a little wave and sat next to him.
"Hello, Yoshi-san. This is a rather rustic little spot, neh? Reminds me of home."

Kobushi is next to arrive. He takes a look around, thinking the place more than a little familiar.
"I used to go to a spot like this back in Clear Water," he says, partly to himself. "How are you, Yoshi-san, Hinata-san?"

Hinata looked up at Kobushi and gave him one of her faint smiles.
"I am doing well, yourself? Also, I thought much the same. As I said to Yoshi-san, it reminds me of home."
She looked around.
"Well...alright, home in Hida lands. Not enough sand to be Kuni lands."

"Good afternoon, Kobushi-san, Hinata-san; I'm doing pretty well," Yoshi says, bowing in greeting to both. He scoots over to the furtherest possible side of the noodle cart so there would be room for them, as well as Nadeshiko when she arrived, to sit. "We had carts like this back in the mountains near where I grew up, too. I just lucked out when I found this one; Kobushi and I were talking about going to a place exactly like this yesterday." He nods to the Daidoji.
"We missed you and Horiuchi-san at lunch then, but... we figured you had private things to discuss," Yoshi says, not wanting Hinata to feel bad about abandoning the boys the day before.

Hinata nodded.
"Of course. What we talked about was indeed private, but...not something I am sure she would mind me sharing. Still, I am not going to talk about it without her permission."

Kobushi nods. "I could use a little more sleep, but turning in early tonight will fix that."
He glances around. He takes a whiff of the smell. The boy did love a good bowl of hot noodles.
"Just waiting on Horiuchi-san, then?"

Nadeshiko showed up a few minutes later, lugging her backpack and a duffle bag at her side. Both were deposited nearby in a safe place so the Unicorn could join the small group. She was breathing hard, obviously having run a fair bit to ensure she made it to lunch on time.
"Hello everyone" *gasp* "It's good to see you all again. Shall we order food and talk?"

"Hi, Horiuchi-san. Good to see you again, too."
He turns to the noodle place and waits to see if the others are ready.
