Hinata turned her attention to Nadeshiko, ignoring poor Yoshi for the moment.
"You are okay with that? I know you two agreed to an open relationship but you cannot just go...kissing people without permission!"

He is about to answer Hinata when he notes Nadeshiko's reaction. "Wait. He didn't tell you? Okay, now I feel bad about that. Even if I don't think he meant anything. Sorry."
"And good for you, Yoshi-san," he says, welcoming the shift in attention.

"I am not entirely sure what I want out of life or a relationship yet Hinata. I like Rodrigo and I do enjoy spending time with him but neither of us are sure it's going to be a lifelong thing yet, or even a steady thing. If we do decide that we want more out of the relationship we'll impose more rules on it. It's sort of a thing that works for us right now? I know it won't work for everyone but as you can see we're both sort of figuring what we're really into."
Nade shrugged and picked up her mostly empty bowl then, slurping down the leftover broth to savour every drop.

Hinata sighed, but nodded, focusing her attention back on her noodle bowl.
"I see...still, the boy needs to learn some manners. Just kissing someone like that is uncouth in the extreme."
She was silent for a moment, then turned her attention to Yoshi.
"What were you saying, Yoshi-kun?"

"Just... trying to say something before Kobushi-san and Nadeshiko-san got to uncomfortable," he admits to Hinata. "I only mentioned... it was my very first kiss ever, with Momiko-chan that night at her house." He shugs, attempting to play it off casually, but he's grinning quite a bit as he tries to catch up to Nadeshiko on noodle consumption.

"So let me get this straight~ She not only invited you home to meet her mom you got to kiss her too? She's got the hots for you Yoshi-kun. You should propose already and lock her in, like a really good rate on a car loan and yes I know that was a terrible metaphor but I'm too happy for you to care~"
She took a moment then to put her bowl back on the counter to signal she was done, taking another sip of her tea to mellow out the warmth still lingering on her tongue.
"As for Rodrigo, I'll just have to make sure we go over our ground rules again, just so we're both really on the same page and do not worry Kobushi-kun, you have done absolutely nothing wrong."

Hinata frowned at Nadeshiko.
"I am so sorry this happened, though. He seemed like a nice boy at the party."

"I knew what I was getting into Hinata~ Rodrigo is from a different culture and a different upbringing, I just need to work on sanding off some of the rough edges to see how he sparkles underneath. It's something I expected and was ready for but it still tweaks just a bit and if worse comes to worse, I'll move on. It happens."
She shrugs then before lifting her arms up to stretch over her head.
"I'm thinking of ordering a second bowl of noodles, that's how good these are"

Hinata nodded, though she still looked concerned. If Nadeshiko said she had a handle on it, though, Hinata trusted her.
"Mm, they are quite good. Too many underestimate cart food."
