Yoshinobu lead Hinata onto his porch, sliding open the main shoji screen door. His area of the palace, separated from the main halls and sectioned off in its own walls, was bigger than most people's entire houses. He cut the lights on to the main room before he began talking, revealing his painting supplies - a canvas propped up against a rack on top of a tarp, with various brushes off to the side.
"Leo. We've had him for about a year now. My sister brought him home one day, so we started to take care of him. He was a stray kitten at the time." He slid open another set of doors after that, revealing a kitchen and living room area. He walked over to his fridge and removed two bottles of cold green tea, handing one to Hinata. He unscrewed the cap and took a long, deep drink.

Hinata took the bottle with a nod and unscrewed it, taking a long drink herself. Once she was done, she took a moment to catch her breath.
"Is Leo friendly? I've always had a fondness for cats. I have one at home too, actually. His name's Dodger."

"Yeah, he is. He's just independent too. Likes to be outside, probably because he was born a stray. When he wants to be petted, he'll let you know and never let you stop scratching him."
Yoshinobu smiled behind his bottle of tea, taking another sip - a smaller one this time. "What is Dodger like?"

"He's an old curmudgeon."
Hinata chuckled.
"He's always liked me though, for some reason. He'll sleep in my bed and everything. He always swipes at my dad whenever he walks by, though."

"Maybe he just has a good eye for women," Yoshinobu replied, setting his tea down on the kitchen counter for a moment. "I'm gonna go change clothes... I've got drool on myself."
He wiped some of it off with a paper towel, before throwing it away. On the other side of the kitchen was a wooden set of steps that lead upstairs, which Yoshinobu moved towards, taking off his jacket as he did so and vanishing up top for a moment.

Hinata nodded, and once he was upstairs she stood up and began to inspect the room. Surely the crown prince must have some interesting stuff in his living room. He seemed like the bookish type, too...Hinata looked around to see if there was a book shelf. If there was, she would peruse it. She was curious to see what sort of stuff Yoshinobu liked.

There were many books in his main room where he painted, a rather large book shelf propped up against the inner wall. He had dozens of books about art, poetry, history. An old copy of Akodo's Leadership that looked like it was around one hundred years old or so. However, it would soon be clear what his prized possession was - an original copy of The Book of Sun Tao. It was almost on display, alone and by itself, appearing to be delicately cared for.
It took a few minutes for Yoshinobu to come back down stairs, but he eventually reappeared. His hair was a little wet, mostly around his bangs - he'd probably washed his face. He was wearing a dark green tank top that showed off some of his muscles - his figure was tall, lean, and cut like a swimmer rather than bulky like some of the other bushi. With as much as he ate, it was probably surprising how he carried almost no fat.
His shoulders were covered in scars, likely from his time training. Some were shallow, some deep. Sword wounds.
He was also now barefoot, and wearing a pair of long black gym shorts as well as a pair of large framed, black rimmed glasses. He certainly looked more comfortable now. "Whatcha lookin' at?" he asked, leaning against Hinata from behind and looking over her shoulder.

Hinata smiled gently as he leaned into her.
"Oh, just looking over what you have to read. I see you're quite the historian. Even some of your books on history are artifacts themselves."
She chuckled softly, then turned to him, looking him up and down. This was the first time she had seen him showing so much skin. He looked good; even the scars suited him nicely, though the thought of how he got the deeper ones worried her a little. Seeing them piqued her natural Kuni curiosity, though, and she began to look at them more closely.
"...now I'm conflicted on what to look at, though. You look good. You also look like you have quite a bit of history to read on you as well..."

"I've read them all. Books used to be the only way I got to leave the palace on a consistent basis." When Yoshinobu notices Hinata checking him out, he smiles a little and takes her hand, placing it on his shoulder. If she wanted to to touch the history on his body, she didn't need his permission. Just some encouragement, if she was comfortable doing so.
"Thanks. I did say I try. Usually involves a lot of cardio. The scars are from my training. Meta-sensei and Yuri-sensei both had their own ways. I once told Meta-sensei I wanted to be a kenshinzen like him, and he showed me just how much further I'd need to go."
He lifted up his shirt to show another scar he bore, thin but visible, earned from the controlled strike of a master swordsman - right across Yoshinobu's left hip. Doing so also revealed his abs, though perhaps that was on purpose. "That's just one story though."

"Meta? As in Kakita Meta? ...well, I can't think of a better teacher than a Thunder."
Hinata stared at his abs for a few moments, then grinned and ran her hand along one of the deeper scars on his arm.
"What about this one?"
