"We will see. They have enough on their plate as is. I'll spring that on them when the timing is better, maybe after Kazuko returns home this summer. Seiken-sama will be in a much better mood when he gets to see her again finally. He wasn't too keen on traveling to Unicorn lands, but duty is duty. Him being in a wheelchair makes visiting his vassals tough."
The Prince smiled though. "Ayameko-sama enjoys going to Unicorn lands, though. She is rather fond of kumis."

Hinata made note of the fact he did not just say 'mom' and 'dad', but did not point it out. It may be a sore point.

"Fermented milk. I find it to be too much myself, but I imagine it takes an acquired taste to enjoy. It does its job well, though. It will get you drunk must quicker than your average sake."
Speaking of which, Yoshinobu finally pours himself another cup and motions to Hinata's as well in case she would like some more. Right about that time was when the water and waitress both showed back up with their entree orders. "Ah, that was quick!"

Hinata held her cup out, a playful smirk on her face.
"Well, I'd imagine it's quicker when there's no other patrons to see to, neh?"
She turned to the waitress and nodded.
"Thank you."

"Indeed, and it is an honor to serve His Majesty and Kuni-sama this evening," she says politely as she sets down the food before each of them, doing her best not to look at either of them directly. It was Yoshinobu's fault that it took two people to bring out all the food, which wasn't really helping much with the whole politely avoiding eye contact thing.
"Thank you very much for you courtesy and hospitality," the Prince replies as well, his tongue watering at the smells, though having the temperance to wait until the staff had retreated before digging in. His stomach was practically rumbling. "You'll be eating at least part of one of these sandwiches too, by the way, Hinata-chan."

Hinata's brows raised at all the food that was carted out. The servings here were certainly generous.
"Am I? I'm not sure I'll be able to fit this much...I'll try, though."

"I more just want you to try them, see if you like them. I should be able to eat whatever is left over," Yoshinobu said with a confident grin.

Hinata nodded. She was getting the impression these must be one of Yoshinobu's favorites.
"Of course. If you like it, I'll give it a try."
Hinata picked up one of the sandwiches and took a bite of it, chewing it for a while to assess the flavor.

"So, what do you think?" the Prince asked, biting into one of his own sandwiches. It was on thick toast, with a garlic/onion/tomato paste on one of the bread layers.

Hinata smiled slightly before swallowing and nodding her head.
"Mm. It's good! These are you favorite, I'm guessing?"
She happily began to eat the rest of the sandwich.
