A robin's song woke the Prince from his sleep. A good dream, an amazing night with the woman he loved that had bled and ran together. Was it real or just a dream? He slowly batted his eyes as he rose from his pillow, staring groggily at the window pane above his bed and the bird that was pirched outside tweeting happily. Yoshinobu groaned lowly and rolled back over onto his side, bumping into something there. Then he remembered. It wasn't a dream. He wasn't alone. Kuni Hinata was there sleeping next to him, wearing his shirt, sharing his blanket and pillows. He wandered if his shuffling had woken her up. He hoped not. He had never seen her look so beautiful as she did right now. Last night. |

Hinata shifted slightly as Yoshinobu bumped into her. She let out a quiet little groan, though not one of displeasure.
"Good morning, Yoshinobu."
They had dropped the honorifics last night, surely that still applied?
"Mmf...do you know what time it is?"

No, watching her come to life from slumber was just as good. The Prince stared at her for a moment without replying, before looking over to his nightstand and his phone. He rolled back over onto his back and took it, fumbling at the charger while doing so.
"Mmm. A little after six..." he said before he tossed it back to the side. He took his left hand and began to run it through some strands of Hinata's hair, smiling and laughing at the sight of her bedhead. "Morning Hinata."

Hinata grinned lazily.
"What's so funny, hm? Is something wrong with my hair?"
She turned around and looked at him.
"Yours is no charmer in the morning either" she teased, then leaned in and kissed him briefly.

"Nah, it looks good. Super cute like this. You could start a new fashion trend, you know? You and me both if we wanted to. Though i think I want to keep this new look of yours for me and me alone."
One of the corners of Yoshinobu's mouth rose as his face reddened a little.

"Think of it, though. Our new fashion would be all the rage in the court."
Hinata chuckled.
"But you're right. It'll be just between us."
She smiled gently and wiggled against him a little bit.
"...last night was fun, though. I dunno what I was so worried about. ...thank you."

Yoshinobu almost purred happily, holding her tightly as Hinata wiggled against him.
"I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. It meant just as much to me..." he paused, gathering his thoughts on the experience and her unease before it. "There is nothing wrong with having been so apprehensive. We... took a big step last night. An important one, more so for you."
"I guess what I'm trying to say is, it just goes to show how much we love each other." He smiled at Hinata, the joy apparent in his face at maybe finding his soul mate. "Thank you for trusting me, Hinata. I just want you to know how much I trust you too."

Hinata said nothing in response, instead just resting her forehead against his and wrapping an arm around him to stroke his back. She stayed like that for a while, just cuddling him and hoping her actions spoke louder than anything words could convey. Eventually, though, she broke it off with a little sigh.
"I wish we could stay like this all day, but...we need to start getting ready for school."

"Yeah. Duty calls." Yoshinobu snickered. "On that note, I need to use the restroom."
The Prince stands up out of bed, naked, though his back is facing Hinata. He turns his head towards her. "Do you want to shower first? If not I think I will go ahead and take mine."

"Mm, we've already seen all of eachother already. Could just shower together, saves time."
Hinata got up as well, dressed in Yoshinobu's tank top and nothing else. Ordinarily she might feel uncomfortable wearing so little but right now it felt oddly good.
