Eito frowns slightly. "This conversation should have nothing to do with it. I am a courtier. I can manipulative conversations quite well and while I don't know if you have been trained as a courtier, it's still something all of us must be aware of. I try to leave my record in my actions. How I spend and invest my money. What I leave in my wake. My mark upon the world rather then just the contents of my character and what I can covey with words, even if in many cases my words are my actions."

"Or maybe the Akodo? Akodo-kami said that our actions and words are the same yes, as you have said. I also think he understood that proving such did take some effort. After all, one is not just born honorable by virtue of their heritage alone."

Eito sighs slightly. "And I tell you this quite honestly. I am not honorable. Or if I am it is not by intent. I may stumble into it through my own virtues and my admiration for compassion. But words make a good first judge, even if they are lies. I am glad to see your training was not neglected in any aspect. Well aside from coin perhaps but easily remedied. Also I thank you for your patience with one such of me. Is there anything you would ask of me my Prince?"

Eito nods. "That she is. She is also being denied her proper glory by some in my Clan who view what she did as a betrayal rather then an act of Heroism. If ever you need one of her talents, please consider her."

Eito takes a deep breath. "She denied Kunshu, the Sword of Hantei and a very lovely woman from the Usurper, going so far as to leave the Lion and join the Spider to be able to do so. She is the reason he did not have Hantei's sword to bring to bear against our Empire and when he tried to take the sword from her...she defended the sword. Huh feels so odd calling Kunshu the sword. Before she lost the ability to transform I knew her as a lovely lady and for a time my Yojimbo."

"Are you sure that is the true story? My Father said that the Usurper possessed the sword for most of the Onyx Wars. It was the tool he used to help cement his claim as a scion of the Hantei line. Which means she would have stolen it from him at some point in time."
