Nadeshiko had texted her friends during Class 3 with the location of the meet up. Making sure that Daidoji Kobushi Kuni Hinata and Tamori Yoshi knew where to meet her. It was a little ways out of town but she had given good directions and eventually the trio would find the Unicorn girl standing in front of a large Tori gate with stairs leading up to the temple grounds. Anyone who would have googled the address would discovered it was a small shrine next to a cemetery. At the bottom of the steps leading to the temple Nade was dressed all in black and her long hair had been left to fall straight down her back. Her traditional backpack had been replaced with a bucket filled with cleaning supplies and in her hands was a large bouquet of fresh flowers. She had her back to the street as people arrived, simply staring up at the sky in silent contemplation. |

Hinata showed up with her usual punctuality. She was especially sure to arrive on time today, she did not want to disappoint Nadeshiko; not when it was something so important. Hinata had looked up the location before coming, and she had her suspicions as to what was going on. Once she saw Nadeshiko dressed as she was, her suspicions were all but confirmed. She walked over to her friend, her expression concerned.
"Ah...Nadeshiko, I'm sorry. If I'd known the context I'd have dressed more appropriately" she said, falling back into her natural accent. There was nobody else around to hear yet, and putting on a mask right now seemed inappropriate.

Kobushi is next to arrive, wearing simple, practical attire. He too sees the way Nadeshiko is dressed and it causes the smile on his face to drop. This was a serious matter, and he approached quietly. He didn't want to disturb anyone with his arrival, no matter how confused he was about what was going on. Good thing his coat was black, at least. He's not entirely inappropriate for whatever is about to happen.
He bows to them in greeting, but keeps quiet.

Tamori Yoshi, not having a great deal of variety in his wardrobe, arrives in his school uniform. At first, he believes they're meeting at the Temple because he'd said he'd wanted to pray before whatever excursion Nadeshiko was taking them upon. When he sees her, though, he realizes the holy place is also the destination. His own prayers, he decides, can wait until after he's finished supporting his friend. He bows to the others upon arrival, but like Kobushi, stays respectfully silent.

Nade pulled Hinata into a hug.. and then Kobushi and then Tamori as they arrived. Not taking no for an answer for the brief symbol of affection before pulling back to pick up her bucket. She pads over to the stairs under the Tori gate then, tossing them all an affectionate smile.
"Thanks for coming everyone I really appreciate it~ Lets head up and I'll start telling you what's going on okay. I'm sure most of you have some inkling of what's going on but there's a story here I need to tell you to get the full thing."

Hinata returned Nadeshiko's embrace, then nodded once she was finished speaking.
"Of course. Lead the way."

Yoshi was becoming more accustomed to displays of physical affection thanks to his girlfriend Momiko, as well as his observations of Otomo Mako. Therefore, he doesn't pull away or tense all that much when Nadeshiko hugs him. After she speaks, he just gives her a soft smile and nods, and when she begins to lead them, he'll fall into step behind her.

Nadeshiko started to climb the stairs, taking each step carefully towards the top.
"A few years ago, I was riding on my high horses. I had my own website and people came to me asking for help with cases. No one really knew who I was though, they all assume I was some middle aged man with a computer I think." she starts, making sure to talk loud enough for all her friends to hear as they climbed.
"One day a man and a father came to me asking for help finding a lost loved one. It seemed they'd been kidnapped because the family had money. I don't know all the details behind it but apparently the police were at a standstill and were preparing to hand over the money. The family, wanting a better resolution came to me."

"I'm... sorry, Nade-chan, were there... two men, or were you describing a single man as also being a father?" Yoshi apologetically interjects, having trouble parsing that particular detail of the story.
