"Her... ancestor was talking to her," Yoshi says into the phone, but he also looks up at Nadeshiko as he does who may not have overheard. "I think he still might be. Is there anything we can do?" This question is directed both at his friend the Unicorn shugenja and to the parents on the other end of the line.

Nadeshiko did the only thing she could think of to do in this situation. She stepped forward, wrapped her arms around Hinatas head and pulled it fully into her modest bosom, simply squishing the grab into the warm soft embrace.
"It's okay Hinata. We'll get rid of him if it takes everything we have and if worse comes to absolute worst I might have an ace up our sleeve..."

Kobushi was able to pull her up off the ground with ease. Her eyes jittered from side to side wildly as her friends held her; whatever was going on with her, it was clear her mind was somewhere else. This went on for a while until she slowly began to come back to her senses and found herself being supported by her friends. She looked back and forth at each of them, her expression still terrified.
"He's...he's gone...I think. For now."
She took a few deep, shuddering breaths.
"I-I couldn't hear anything, he...he got in my head and I couldn't hear anything but him..."

"Does it always get this bad when he visits?" he asks, curious, alarmed, and concerned.
Kobushi has relaxed a little, content with letting Nadeshiko handle things from here. But he hovered close by. In case Hinata needed a stable pair of legs to help keep her on her feet. The possibility that she might need something more didn't cross his mind.

"No...this is the first time he's stopped me from hearing anything."
She looked at Kobushi, her eyes wide.
"You don't think he could stop my other senses too, do you?"

After some more reassuring words to her parents, Yoshi looks to Hinata, hearing her terrified question whose answer he doesn't know. "Hinata," he says to her gently, "I still have your family on the line, if you'd like to talk to them again?" He offers to hand her the phone back, but it's clear he'll continue speaking on her behalf if she's not ready.

"No expert on hauntings, and even if I was, Yori is kind of unique, I would think. Your Family might be able to answer better," he admits. "Once they know you're alright."

Hinata nodded.
"O-of course."
She then took the phone back from Yoshi.
"Hello..."

As Hinata talked on the phone Nade took a step back and fished through her pockets for a few long moments before pulling out a shiny trinket with the old Otaku family crest on it. Making sure it was still in good condition she squeezed it in the palm of her hand, thinking about it as she listens to Hinatas half of the conversation.

Eventually, Hinata ended the call after discussing a myriad of things ranging from going home to, to Yori being behind her shoulder, to contemplating seppuku. She pocketed her phone and looked up at the others, her expression a mixture of weariness and annoyance.
"Well...now you know, I guess."
Hinata sighed and stood up, dusting off her knees.
"...nothing to do now but wait."
