Hinata nodded.
"It is fine, Nadeshiko. I would never complain about spending more time with you."
She then looked at Yoshi.
"The temples do sound like a good idea."

"You're in luck everyone, I did a bit of research and there's a temple to Ebisu about a block away. That should be a good place to relax, let Yoshi-kun pray, and we can just sort of relax for a bit before heading back to campus."

"Agreed. I really should pray to the Fortunes more often," he admits. "And I did buy a helmet! I just didn't think I'd need it today."

"Thank you so much, Nadeshiko-chan," Yoshi says, truly touched by her consideration to research the area on his behalf. "Please, lead the way." He bows and lets the Unicorn take them all to the Temple of Ebisu.

Nade nodded and dumped the bucket out on a nearby patch of grass before placing the cleaning supplies in a small cupboard behind the shrine.
"This way everyone"
The trip would take them down the stairs, up a block, over another block and then up a much more impressive set of stairs to a proper temple to Ebisu.

Hinata followed Nadeshiko to the temple. For a place dedicated to the fortune of honest work, this place sure was impressive. Even more impressive was the statue of Ebisu, which for some reason had his abs carved in loving detail. Hinata tore her eyes away from them; she was not going to ogle a statue of one of the Fortunes. She had come here to pray.

Ebisu. Not a Fortune Kobushi was overly familiar with, though he did appreciate what the Fortune represented. He glances at Hinata, not realizing why she seemed so interested in the statue. He says nothing about it and shrugs it off, assuming it was something related to Fortunes, their depictions, and the studies of shugenja. Instead, he just moves to make offerings first before prayers.

When they arrive, Yoshi reveals he had been carrying a very ornate blue box of incense by producing it from a pocket inside his jacket. From inside that, he takes a strongly bitter-smelling stick and lights it upon one of the many candles, placing it as an offering before Ebisu. Nodding and smiling at the others, he kneels to pray silently along with Kobushi.

Nade takes her spot next to Yoshi, eyes closed as she prayed silently to Ebisu to help her along her path towards being a Kitsuki Investigator.

Hinata knelt next to the others and closed her eyes, both to pray and to take her mind off the disturbingly attractive statue. As for what she prayed for...she was not sure. Could she really pray to Ebisu to help her in her efforts to marry Yoshinobu? That seemed far more in the purview of Benten. To say there was no work involved in that goal, however, was far from the truth. She decided not to risk offending a Fortune, though. Instead she simply offered praises to Ebisu; it would not do to ask anything of a Fortune without a proper offering.
