"Oh Kami I hadn't even thought of that, she'll eat me out of house and home!" He said as he slapped his knee laughing the whole way.
Ichiro was having a good time and thought that this was going well. He liked Hisui she wa smart but also not afraid to poke a little fun. He could only hope that his meeting with fuyuko could go half as well.

"And you will love every minute of it!" she notes. Then she remembers. "A pity it can't happen. She would be so bright if she could bear a child."
Hisui definitely had a more positive impression of the Akodo now. She didn't have too bad of an opinion before, given his willingness to apologize for his error. She was aware he was trying to impress her, because that was what boys his age did. For now, she would observe but not watch too closely.
Fuyuko, on the other hand, was a different matter entirely. Likely more difficult, as well.

His laughter dwindled off and his smile cut with a bit of sadness "ah, I did not know she could not bear children. She did not mention that side effect of her 'blessing though I did not ask." The lion shrugs "pity she would make beautiful children, though in all honesty I had not thought about having children yet."

"Oh? My apologies. I remembered the detail late, and I did not intend to get your hopes up," she admits before offering an apologetic incline of her head. "But it is better you know, so as not to expect down the line. It is an issue that seems attached to her particular spiritual condition."

Ichiro shook his head "you've nothing to be sorry for, my hopes were not raised nor dashed. As I said I do not even know if I want to have kids so learning she can't is no great disappointment. Plus there are many options if one wishes to become a parent." Ichiro did as he always had and strived to see that positive in anything.

She was, in fact, absolutely certain of it. She was also sure Mako had forced the thought into Uetani's mind. She spoke of neither of these things.

"Now, if only that plane would get here sooner because this is the part about flying I hate the most. The endless waiting at the airport."

But let's be honest in admitting we both have someone on that plane we're dying to see again, hmm?" she says, teasing just a little bit. Her face shifts into one that is more reflective of genuine concern afterwards. "I haven't been able to rest easy since they left, truth be told."
