Masako, for her part, nods, after having gone through the proper greetings for those who she knew and those she did not, "Hai. My husband has a point. He and I both had prior marriages, both for love, both of which ended with the death of our spouse. We...were not exactly expecting to find the other, until we did. And we did not expect such a romance to blossom, as we were just there for each other."
The former Doji is dressed in rather relaxed gray and red suit, seeming quite happy to meet with the woman who captured her de-facto daughter's heart, as well as her new granddaughter.

Hisui smiles, giggling at Makubesu. And then turning overly proper and polite when Masako speaks up. If anyone at the table had seen it, they might read it as her reaction to being in the presence of the Crown Prince.
"I have every intention of having her with me as I pass. Her, our children, and maybe a few grandchildren," she says, polite but smiling far too much for propriety. "I told her early on, after I realized she actually asked me out, that I was looking for someone to grow old with. I hoped it was her. I still hope it's her, and I'm willing to give her every reason I can to live that long. If she asks."
And a last, nervous bow to the Doji's real parents. "If you'll allow me."

Fuyuko offers Yoko a small sympathetic frown. She then nods to Mak. "Indeed, I have been making sure my students have proper headgear as well. I am happy to report I have not had a single incident in class yet." she says before she nods to Masako. "Aunt Masako-sama. I hope you have been well as well. This one apologizes if she has acted unwisely in the past." she says seriously. In her mind there was still the chance her aunt had rejected her. Something Hisui had hopefully talked her into testing.
"And we do indeed intend to be each other's final loves if the fortune allows. If one of us passes first for whatever reason, the other will look after the children. Uetani-chan could still use some guidance now and again. I... would of course appreciate it if you both ever offered any. Anything good that I am, I attribute to you both."

"People always act unwisely, Fuyuko-chan. It is the nature of life," Masako says with a small smile, "The question is whether or not you learned from your mistakes. And we'd be glad to assist in the rearing of the young."

Hisui offers a smile. Both because it seems Fuyuko's worries about Masako were unfounded and because the elder, former Doji did not seem hostile to her. Of course, that did not mean she had parental approval just yet, but at least it was a step in the right direction. Rather than meddle in the conversation, the Utaku decides to keep silent. She offers a smile to Yoko and a little wave to the boy she assumes is Masako and Makubesu's youngest child.

She is trying to be respectful and quiet for now, her eyes following the Scorpion girl she does not know for now. Hoping that she is okay. She is all smiles and happiness though, basking in the warm glow of family. A family that seems ready to accept her

Listening to the good fortune of the Crane and the Unicorn, Yoko just kept to herself. The girl continues to hold Makubesu's hand. She notes Sanro probably pouting not being able to be beside dad. She made a teasing face to the boy.

Sanro, being the teenager he is, just rolls his eyes and shakes his head at Yokohime's teasing. Rather than be distracted by his adopted sister, he fixes the quieter stranger with an appraising look.
"So, Kakita-sama," he says, "I guess I'm sort of going to be your Uncle. Don't worry; I won't be the creepy kind... unless you want me to be." He grins as his father glares at him.
"I doubt she'd want the attention of someone getting such poor marks in subtlety class," Makubesu scolds his son. He smiles and shakes his head at the two Cranes and Unicorns at the table. "I'm apologize for Sanro, though he's predictably robbed me of the chance to do it in advance. You're all going to have your hands full with him when he starts at RHS next year." The boy's grin only grows.
"I'm sure Sister/Cousin Fuyuko-sama and her love are too professional to lay their hands upon me, Father," he says, with a disappointed look that's almost the spitting image of Makubesu's when he was ever so slightly flirting with Uetani about her state of dress. Speaking of whom, Sanro adds, "Of course, there are no such prohibitions in place against an honored niece doing so." Maybe Yokohime did the boy a favor by sitting next to his father, putting him out of comfortable arm's reach for a good swat.

"Oh, I am sure I won't even see him in my classes. They're rather unlikely for most students to take," she says with a tiny smile. The advantages of having unorthodox classes. "Especially since an Utaku is the last person you'd expect to teach either one."

Fuyuko raises her brow at the boy. "If you take my class. You will be expected to excell in all aspects or you WILL face the consequences. Do not for a second think I would dishonor my family by allowing you to skate by on sub-par performance. If that is what you mean by laying a hand on, If i am not recalled to my work in the courts." she takes another breath going out of stern teacher mode.
She looks back to Masako. "Changed if not learned. I still will do as is required but...I am in no rush to meet Emma-o anymore when he has made it so clear I am needed here. If I am taken, I will go happily, but if not, I will be even more happy to stay."
