Koshiro goes over to Yoshi's side and places a hand on his shoulder. "Better make a wish request, buddy. I'm with you on this. Way I see it, we're being given a great chance to gain something here. True, it feels like a cheap way to gain something. But I'm just a poor ronin. Chances like these don't come often. No one knows what the future holds for us. I might never have the time to accomplish my dream, definitely not the resources either. I am thankful to everyone that wanted to help me on it, but right now there is a possibility that it can be done with just a wish. I don't know if any of this is real, but if there's even the slightest chance I can get the one wish I wanted, I would take it. And I have. All that remains now is to see if it will come true."

Hinata came back into the assembly hall, walking quickly. Unlike when she had ran out, she seemed to have a sense of purpose now. She looked at Ayumu.
"Moto-san, how does one make these wishes exactly?"

"I can't believe any of you are wanting to make these wishes," Noboru offered with a bit of a sigh. "Moto-sama can say there are no repercussions, but I would disagree."
Noboru looked to Hisui, offering, "An old wound is a reminder of a task performed and a lesson learned."
Next he fixed his eyes upon Koshiro, not knowing much about the boy's plight other than what he revealed about wanting to raise his mother's ship. "Does the end goal justify the means or does our actions justify the ends?"
Then to Hinata, whom his gaze darkens considerably. "And would have thought a Crab of all people would have known that monsters always return and it's the righteous that see to it that they can't darken our door rather than recoil in fear."
Finally his eyes shot to...
Kakita Uetani.
The Dragon strode over to her, head tilted to one side. He hadn't heard her thoughts on this and it hadn't really mattered. For several moments Mirumoto Noboru gazed into her eyes, forgetting all sense of decorum. After a long, if uncomfortable silence the young man finally let out a bit of a heh.
"Patient deep hunter
Cripples prey with one swift strike;
Hōjirozame"
His right hand reached up and began stroking the Kakita's cheek lightly, a single tear filling his as it gently fell down to the ground beneath and between them. A whisper left his lips, as soft as the touch upon her flesh and as light as the air they breathed. "You reminded me that true vengeance comes to the righteous and the just. That I should be seeking to avenge her, not get revenge for her. I don't care what Moto-san says, I won't forget this or you when I wake."
With that he offered a sad chuckle as well as a shake of his head as he continued to search out that connection they shared in the dojo all those days earlier. "I never imagined my promise to you would be fulfilled in this life, but when the others come to their senses and Ningen-do is restored to its proper place, I will seek you out."
A pause, then, "You are loved."
Having embarrassed the woman enough he pulled away, then waited to see what others had to say.
(OOC: I know Uetani hasn't posted in, but I asked the player earlier if she was here and mentioned doing something similar.)

Hinata looked at Noboru, her expression flat.
"Mirumoto-san, I know. I think we should wake Goemon. But in case that is not the course of action we take, there is one wish I would like to make."
She looked at Ayumu.
"Would it be possible to make it so that the monster in my head was never there?"

Koko looked at Mayumi and frowned. "Mayumi chan... if we are to wake we won't be together even Kiki and I will be separated. For I am to return to Chikuchudo and Kiki to Sakkaku." Then she smiled at her cousin. "You are mostly Ningen so you probably return to Ningen do."

Rodrigo had nothing to add to this. He didn't know anything about what was going on, and he had no particular attachment to his memories here. After-all...wait, actually, he did have something to add. Nevermind.
"So, uh, pardon me for speaking up here. I know I don't know nearly as much about all this...celestial stuff as you guys do, but here's my thought: if it happened shortly enough ago that I got pulled into it, it's not so far back that nobody here would know eachother. The likelihood of us meeting eachother again and things going similarly are pretty good then, yeah? It's not like we become completely different people."
He leaned back in his chair and shrugged.
"So the way I see it, it's not a huge deal. Wanting to get a wish out of it just seems little greedy to me."

Koshiro looks darkly towards the others. "Oh, well, I'm sorry if it offends you people that the poor ronin that can't afford nice things like most of you can decided to make a wish. Call me greedy, call me opportunistic, I don't care what you all wish to call me. My mother's ship lies at the bottom of that lake. She is a warm and caring person that did not deserve to have the ship her own parents raised her in and made their home sunk by some asshole that did it because they could. Even though she went through a rough time, that woman found an abandoned baby like me after the war and adopted me. I am proud to call her my mother. She has gone through so much, she deserves at least this much in return. If I can restore the ship she loved so much and lost and return it to her right now by making a simple wish without cost, then by the Fortunes, I am taking that deal."
He looks over to Noboru. "So yes, I say in this very case, the end goal justifies the means, especially when the means open to ronin like me are very much limited."

Hinata looked at Koshiro, her expression sympathetic
"Koshiro-kun, what Azerora-san said was harsher than it needed to be, but it has merit. If the point at which we entered the dream was not that long ago, then logically things should not play out much differently in the real world. In this one, we found a way to raise your mother's ship and made plans to do so. If we are all still the same people in the real world...I think things would end much the same."
She paused.
"And if we do decide not to wake Goemon, then you may make your wish. I certainly have. It may not be the path I agree with, but it is also not an opportunity that should be wasted if that is what we do."

Koko sighed. "You are letting yourselves drawn to your sins. It is not about you or me or anyone. Wishes are a sin... they are desires that should never be achieved easily. This is about lives if we are to go back to our realms be it. If we are to be separated so the Heavens have spoken. It is not up to us to let our sins get us. But go ahead let your soul be corrupted by it." Koko stated

"Why do we assume waking the fortune is the right thing to do?" Ichiro spoke up for the first time. "This is not a lie, this has been as real as anything I have ever experienced and if we let this run it's course it all corrects itself. Why do we assume we have to do anything? You all speak of pride and hubris in is assuming the intentions of the heavens but are you not doing the exact same thing but assuming what the right course of action is?"
He took a breath "I agree with Koko-chan the wishes are wrong, as tempting as they may be but any goal worth achieving is worth being done through work. But I do not see anything wrong with allowing things to run their natural course."
