Suzaku blushed, but smiled softly "I come from a small dojo, but I do my best to honor at least the basics of its great teachings. It is my hope that some time beyond the Hills broadens my understanding."

Fuyuko bows. 'This one is Doji Fuyuko. Iaido and Law Instructor. Small your dojo may be but trust me when I say sometimes good things come in small packages." It's a height joke! Cause she is tiny! "I would be offended if you did not try out for the team. Your knowledge of The Sword strikes me as very solid. I am excited to see my team this year."

Akiko's eyes remained fixated to the floor. Her lips were pursed together as the anxiety rose up into her throat, making her nauseous. Slowly Arasou curled his way behind Seijuro as well and began to nuzzle against his companion's legs. The panther did not enjoy seeing his friend so distressed. "I'm...I'm uh...M-Matsu Akiko.."
Her voice trails off a hand wraps around her forearm, her own nails digging gently into the cloth of her shirt. "H-hopefully it does not take me long to get u-used to it...Akodo-san.."

"I would hate to offend the sensei, Doji-sama." Suzaku said, smiling somewhat rakishly. "I'm sure with your coaching and class I'll be ready to hopefully not embarrass the school and bring honor to my dojo." Suzaku brushes his hair back, exposing heavily calloused hands before concealing them again.

Fuyuko raises a brow at the rakish smile but dosn't seem too bothered by it. "I see, well I am glad you will be joining us in the club." before she turns back to the Lion, a small bit of worry crossing her face. "Are you well Matsu-san?"

"Know the city?" She looks up at him, seemingly having the easiest time when focusing directly on the Akodo. No doubt it was because of the fact that the girl actually knew him. "Ano..." a pause. "How so?"
Arasou, in the mean time, curls his tail around Seijuro's leg and lets out a happy chitter. It seemed like the panther was voicing his approval of the idea.

"Well, maybe find a place where you feel comfortable I guess. Somewhere that reminds you of home, if you need it," Seijuro tries to explain, before kneeling down and giving the panther a few more scritches.
"And the sooner you feel familiar with the city, where stuff is, come cool places to go, it might help you feel a little more comfortable."

Fuyuko dosn't take offense at the girl's distraction, she is clearly shy. With a small bow she walks over to place the bokken back on the weapons stand. "I think perhaps I could use a soak of the muscles. But if you need anything, please ask."
