Aiko shakes her head in faint amusement, "I do believe that was one of the students at RHS, dear. I bet we caught her on her first day working here."
Dairu looks up from his menu, cocking an eyebrow, "Oh? That is interesting, dear. I wonder if you will tell her at one point you waited tables as well. Might put her more at ease. I know it worked with that one young man at...where was it...ah. The one Yodotai place. I forget the name."
"Marcellus', dear," Aiko replies, laughing softly, "I'd forgotten how nervous he was when he recognized me."
She sighs softly, smiling and waiting for the waitress' return.

Hinata returned shortly after, bowing in apology.
"Gomen, masters! Gomen! The specials today are for pancakes and fried ice cream!"

"Pancakes and ice cream sounds lovely. Some iced tea as well, if I could trouble you my lady," Yoshinobu replied, all smiles.

Looks down to her menu again, choosing a simple dish and waiting for the girl. Something about the current patron she is with...also struck her as familiar but she couldn't place it. Must be another magistrate.

Hinata had to keep herself from glaring at the man in questionable attire. He had just ordered without her being at his table! This day was hectic enough! She hoped the couple whose order she was waiting for wouldn't be too insulted by her having to go to another table. She forced a smile and skipped over to him.
"Of course, Master~! Pancakes and ice cream with some iced tea coming right up!"
With that, she skipped along to the kitchen to give the order to the chef.

Yoshinobu's broad smile indicated that he was blissfully unaware of this potential breech in restaurant etiquette. As he waited for his order, he folded his arms across his chest and softly hummed a tune to himself.

After a little while, Hinata scampered back out of the kitchen, making her way to the table where Aiko and her husband sat.
"Gomen! It can get confusing serving so many masters!"
She tried for a giggle, but she couldn't even convince herself that what came out sounded anywhere near genuine. Hopefully they wouldn't notice.
"Have you decided on what you want, masters~?"

Aiko smiles, "I'll have the chicken omurice and an iced tea, please. And don't worry about it. I'm familiar with the joys of waiting multiple tables at once, though never having to do so while maintaining a character."
Dairu looks over the menu, "I'll have the special and a large cola."

A maid cafe... How quaint. Didn't father allow Kiyoko to work a summer at one of these. Otomo Katsumi eyed the cafe before entering. I don't understand the allure to such places. I wonder if they have a version where attractive men attend to you... Wait a moment... Her eyes fell upon Doji Fuyoko she blinked a few times. A Doji here... Is this place some sort of high end establishment... You'd think I'd heard of it. She glances around her eyes falling upon Mirumoto Aiko. She narrows her eyes slightly even more deeply in thought. That can't be the Dragon thunder... Her eyes more swiftly glanced around the place. This place seems so simple... But if the Dragon Thunder would bring her husband... She continued glancing around before her eyes fell upon Iweko Yoshinobu. Everything came to a halt as her eyes fell upon him. I-Impossible... No... it ca-can't be... She took a step back and for the briefest of moments her ON faded. A dangerous risk to her own honor and family position. If her father had seen her at the moment well... She swallowed nervously and shook her head. No no it's just a boy... He may have similar features. The hat and sunglasses OH KAMI IT'S A TERRIBLE DISGUISE! she took a deep breathe and her eyes fell upon the Kuni who was acting as a server. She narrowed her eyes and awaited the girl to attend her.

Hinata was taken aback. Aiko had waited tables? ...she supposed it wasn't too shocking, Aiko had been a teenager at one point too, but it was still odd to think of one of the Thunders doing menial labor. Still, Aiko's reassurance did the trick, and Hinata relaxed visibly. Not entirely though, she still had a character to maintain.
"Thank you, masters!"
She jotted down the orders on a notepad and bowed.
"I'll get your orders and bring them right out!"
...and then another customer walked in, dashing any last shred of hope she had for an easy first day. With a turn on her heel, she pranced back to the kitchen.
