She nods, grinning cockily from ear to ear. "Yeah? Sounds good, then. I'll give you the same choice, Boxing or Judo?" She swings her hips to the left and rests her hand upon it, her other reaching up to wipe the sweat from last match from her brow.
Hopefully he'll surprise me and I won't snap him like a twig... he looks awfully thin. Eh, can't blame our cousins for focusing so much on the blade, though. I've watched Uncle fight before.[/font]

Kumataro's chest inflated. Someone had recognized him! He was wondering how long that was going to take.
"Ah, I used to be a professional basketball player!"
...it then occurred to him that may not have been what this kid recognized him for. He deflated a bit.
"Oh, and uh, I also starred in a movie."

"Oh, which team, Hida-sensei?! I ran track in Junior High, but I never got into football, basketball, or football," he chattered, smiling. "And a movie? Wow! You're a movie star! Gosh, I knew you looked familiar? Which movie, Hida-sensei?"

"Kyuden Hida Pincers!" Kumataro recalled proudly.
"That was years ago, though. You were probably very young when I was still playing."
A hint of shame crept into Kumataro's voice.
"As for the movie, it was called Shadow Jam."
He still couldn't quite believe he'd made that mess of a movie. Who thought he'd be a good actor? Much less enough of a good actor to carry a movie with such a ridiculous plot. Him helping a cartoon rabbit play against spirit possessed basketball legends? Who even thought of that?

"OH MY KAMI! That movie was so AWESOME!"
The young Crane squealed in delight, remembering the movie from his childhood. "I can't believe you're THE Hida Kumataro," he gasped, his view entirely different. After all, it was a children's movie and while as an adult actor he may have hated it, it had an impact on the younger audience it was targeted towards. "I watched the Samui Kaze Toshi Mariners when I was younger, but that's totally not as cool as being a movie star! Gosh, Hida-sensei, that's so awesome! Could I get your autograph sometime?" He looked up to the Hida (literally) with pleading eyes.

The big Hida chuckled. His opinion on the movie might have been different, but it seems at least someone liked it.
"Of course I can sign an autograph! It's always good to meet a fan, Kakita-san."

"Okay! I'll find something suitable, okay? But for now, I shouldn't keep Doji-senpai waiting."With a big smile the Crane padded over to Hida Tetsuko whom he offered a deep bow. The Crane adjusted his glasses and offered her a friendly smile. "Hello, Doji-senpai! I'm Kakita Isao, a First Year. I'll confess I'm not really good at boxing or wrestling, but I would like to practice," he offered, hopeful. She was likely right - she could break him like a twig. She was certainly taller than him by six inches. Nonetheless, he had an infectious smile and seemed excited about training with her. "Perhaps you might teach me a thing or two, Doji-senpai? We didn't study jiujutsu often at the KDA after all."

"That's fine." she says with a grin. "Never too early to start learning somewhere. How about a boxing match, then? First to three hits?"

He nodded in agreement. "First to three," he said, removing his glasses and tucking them into the fold of his kendogi. Isao approached Tetsuko and offered her a bow, acknowledging her as an upper classmen. He then raised his hands up in an amateur's stance, doing what he had seen from watching boxers on Pay per View matches at social gatherings. The young Crane was lean, quick, and agile, but lacked strength, endurance, and skill. So, once they squared off he exhaled and started. Battered from his spar with Priya, Isao went to throw the first punch but he was clearly outclassed by Tetsuko...

Tetsuko nods, bowing before sinking into stance. Another Southern Style stance, indicative of Crab training to anyone knowledgeable on the subject. She had barely set in when Isao was already charging in. The sudden assault almost caught her off guard... almost. She jerks back, the movement a motion from her shoulders that then pull her torso, hips, then legs back.
"Woah! Nice speed there!" she says with her grin, pulling both elbows in close and squaring her shoulders to cover her ears. However, seeing the man over-extended as such, she drops low and leading with her hips throws a light-yet-fast uppercut directed at Isao's midsection.
