"I don't think I've run into mine yet. But I'm all settled." He nods thankfully at the offer, though. "I didn't have a lot of stuff to begin with. And they wouldn't let me bring a kiln."
"What about you? Anything coming in later that you couldn't bring with you?"

"I packed light. I mean, I packed A LOT of clothes, but really, nothing like a kiln," he said with a laugh. "I was able to take everything I thought I'd need with me. If I can think of anything else, I'll have to order it."
Isao nodded and mentally checked for what he may or may not have forgotten while packing. Clothes, uniforms, personal electronics, dojo gear, books... He was certain he had everything required on the school checklist in addition to some of the personal items he wanted to bring with himself. Overall, he wasn't needy and was practical - it wouldn't do him any good hauling things around that were useless. Besides, space was limited in the dorms and he liked the idea of being neat and organized... Well, as neat and organized as a 15 year old boy could be.

Kobushi nods.
"Practical, that. And she wouldn't let me bring the kiln even if there was room for it anyway."
He pauses, then asks the question that's been inching at the tip of his tongue since he saw these two. "Are you both from around here? Or from elsewhere?"

Isao laughed, sincere and full of mirth.
"No! Not at all. I'm from Samui Kaze Toshi, Kakita provinces. You know, the city by the coast. I'm just here in the capital to attend school."

Youshikatsu remained quite around this discussion maybe drifting off to the side. He seemed rather uncomfortable around such a topic.

Isao caught the cue, or at least made the assumption, that a change of topic was worth pursuing.
"So... I noticed you wear what looks like a swim suit. Are you a member of the Swim Team, Bayushi-senpai?"

"Just a hobby? Well, that's cool too," he chirped. He gave the Scorpion a reassuring smile as the three of them continued down along the sidewalk, heading back towards campus.
