As for the rest of them... well, I hope I take rightly by your tone that a relationship with Nomen was a ruse, because I think she might be the hardest to rally to the cause." He shakes his head.
"The school year is young yet," he says with the tiniest hint of optimism. "I'm not giving up on anyone this early... well, almost anyone. Oh, and regarding Hironobu, he and I have yet to have a thorough meeting, but if he approved of your computorial manipulation, I will do the same. As always, have a care; everything is traceable, in theory. In fact it's probably best not to speak of it outside extremely secure areas, of which I hope this is one."

He nodded.
"It's the best I could do." He replied.
"It was nothing more than a ruse, but it allowed me to spend an afternoon with a hot chick like her. How often do you think that happened the previous years? I would call that a win even if it doesn't happen again." He shrugged.

"Such things as that are always fleeting," Saito says, sounding far away in thought for a moment. His expression sours as he returns to the present. "Well, this is all quite impressive, but was that and asking permission to continue your computer project the sole reasons for you calling me here? Is there any way in which I might directly aid your endeavors?" He tempers his impatience with a sincere offer of help to the younger man.

"I wanted to ask for your support in convincing the administration of the school in funding a hydroponics lab. It will increase production and also accelerate the growth rate. If it would help I can provided a detailed study on the subject."
He smirked.
"I also wanted your advise on what skills to pick during my last year in RHS. But I suspect that you will suggest social ones."

"I'll give what support I can, but it may fall more upon the shoulders of our Student Council representative to push projects like that," Saito tells him. "I hope, despite the "breakup", that you're still in Nomen's good graces." He smirked. "I also wanted your advise on what skills to pick during my last year in RHS. But I suspect that you will suggest social ones." "I haven't read your file completely yet, but indeed I would suggest delving into any areas with which you're not familiar," Saito answers. "Pick up those skills you currently lack so you can enter the non-academic world as well-rounded as possible." He's not going to force Yoruga to make himself more sociable, because he certainly isn't one to follow that example himself, but it is a skillset that could be of use to someone with less status and extensive courtier training. |
