Eito nods at Tarik then he turns to Mako. "Ready to ask or a more fun secretive question? If you like I am holding office hours tomorrow, you can come ask me then so we don't need to play determination chicken with Tarik-san."

She looked at Tarik, then shrugged, "I was hoping to ask for a brief explanation of how ethics and Shourido have to do with each other. It would imply that Shourido and Bushido are moral principles, but are they not instead both principles of honor, which can indeed be quite separate?" She grabbed her bag however, and exited the room, "Perhaps you may teach me some other time."

He ignored her shrugging, ultimately she had pissed him off too and of course she forgot her candy... He got up and approached.
"Did you even noticed wah happened?" He asked plainly.

He shrugged and moved his head in disbelief.
"You didn't even notice. Nice." He commented.
"I guess I should apologise for imposing on your time." He said and bowed with the intention to leave.

Eito raises his brow. "That you felt personally offended by a student's comment, and sought to correct the matter? And the other student did not see they did anything wrong? Do you want me to intercede in every fight you have Tarik-san? I feel that would weaken you."

His reply was the expected justification.
"In class, I expect to be protected. But then again, I'm a soulless demon, I shouldn't expect anything." He frowned.
"I guess I should apologise for exaggerating." He bowed again.

Eito raises his brow then laughs. "Why? I am sorry but I am here to teach economics. And I am sorry but it is particularly rich for you to keep using this soulless demon routine with a Spider. I literally had to stand in court and justify my existence before a court of people who thought I was sent to betray them while my family, who I swore would be loyal, set fire to the city around us. This morning Isawa Ale-Jong said I was trying to taint the children of Rokugon and called for my execution." he sighs. "In my class, I want my students to defend themselves. I am not here to protect them because any day now because the day I had to stand in court to do that? I was younger then you are now. I won't allow my student's to come to harm but offense? Isn't harm. It's at best a belief of those who follow Bushido, at most honestly a weapon."

"Eito-sensei, I already apologised for imposing on your time. It is good to know that in your class others will be offending me with impunity just because they feel like it." He responded.
"Am I allowed to excuse myself?"
