Hisui reaches in for a hug. She couldn't do anything for her friend's losses, but she could offer what little comfort she could. "We're still here, Yoko-chan."

Akane nodded, "The lake might be a bit cold still, since it's still early spring. But fortunately there's still a pool here. ...suppose we could swim at the spring, but that's not really allowed."

"The lake is not that cold. There was a student swimming there at lunch." She looked at the two woman. "I have no problems swimming in it... It can train your stamina... how much can you resist the cold?"

"Kill them hm? Well I better take precautions for swim class then," she says with a chuckle.
"As far as the lake goes, I suppose you're right, Yoko-chan; It's not as warm as the pool, but there's something nice and bracing about fresh natural water when you swim in it. Maybe I just thought it was colder because the last time I swam in the lake I was skinny dipping... then again, these ARE old memories, so maybe it's just that."
