"It is said that souls who died in senseless battle or thinking of revenge were sent to Toshigoku after death. Do you think the nature of her death and her love for battle would play into this possibility?"

"I think both of your questions should be taken into consideration. It's certainly not such a black and white answer as Maigo no Musha could have claimed the soul were their destiny eclipsed. Also, a single moment does not create the sum of a samurai's life to be judged upon... Or does it? The nature of the spirit realms dovetails into philosophy and theological discussion, I'm afraid, but this brings us up to another subject: the spirits themselves."
He nodded and looked between his most vocal pupils.
"Now, can anyone tell me what they call the spirits of slaughter who originate from Toshigoku?"

"Satsugai...They are mindless, bloodthirsty creatures that live to fight. Legend goes that if one leaves Toshigoku the realm's influence will fade away. There are also the Raviging Tsuno who are twisted souls of the Kitsu." Yoko smiled.
