D2 - Night [Ask] Who ya gonna call? YUREIBUSTERS!

"Well now that you've embarrassed yourself in front of me Nomen-nyan... I'll have to do the same when we get to my room"

She glances down the last set of stairs before nodding, hustling down them normally without waiting for her new... friend to follow. On the bottom floor she moved more casually, making it to her door before slowly opening it to allow Nomen inside.

The room was a bit of a dichotomy, one side was fairly neat with several gunpla resting on the top shelf of a bookcase while the other was stuffed, somewhat nearly, to the brim with things.

The desk was covered in arts and crafts supplies and notebooks while the bookcase was stuffed to overflowing with detective novels and manga and a ton of blurays and dvds of similar subjects both gaijin and local made.

"Mayumi-senpai sleeps like a rock but you'll need to keep your voice down anyways."

Nadeshiko rummaged through her suicase, still bulging with clothing that she had yet to unpack. "Yeah, Mayumi-senpai is a very nice girl."

Nomen would find a box of slap bracelets on the desk, an old fashioned thing... and rather curious that Nadeshiko had at least 20 of them. There were also a pile of paper people cut out and stacked together.

"If you want to borrow a book go ahead Nomen-nyan~ I've read all of them at least two or three times. As for keeping quiet? I don't think a bat could find you."

Nadeshiko aha'd as she pulled something out of her suitcase and held it to her chest. It was something grey and soft as she stood and slipped into a just out of sight of her new comrade.

"Like I said, you embarassed yourself a bit... so I'm going to embarrass myself just a bit too." There's a rustling sound before Nadeshiko steps out into the light of the moon trickling in from the window, wearing a rather adorable Kitty Kigurumi.

Her hands come up, she crooks her wrists, and gives Nomen a cute Nyan of her own before padding over to sit on the bed next to the girl. "Yes actually on the inspiration. The girls name is Tensai Ikkyu. I know it's a bit on the nose but she's a silly 'genius detective.' She's actually more of a side character in the manga but she's really cute and so I stole her look~"

Nadeshiko wrinkled up her nose and muttered under her breath at both the head pats and the scritching... but eventually relented into letting Nomen have her way for the moment. It got even worse as the cute Scorpion girl placed her head in Nade-chans lap,

"I tried wearing contacts once, they were irritating. So I'm going with my natural eye color forever... also 99% of people don't seem to notice. They like other bits even more... But uhhh thank you for the compliment" she whispers, reaching down with one hand to lightly run fingers through Nomens hair, tracing along it slowly before tucking a few strands behind one ear. "As for the detective stuff? My mom bought me a copy of a manga called The Kindaichi Case Files. He's about our age, he's a detective, it's all fairly generic but it really hit home with me. I devoured it... and I devoured the next volume and it just kind of ballooned from there. Then I found out the techniques and information I learned in the manga were really easy for me to implement, the connections just came so naturally for me. I started helping the kids in the neighbourhood find their lost pets and it sort of grew from there as I grew older."

She pauses for a moment, twirling a finger in her new friends hair before tugging it lightly "If I keep going we'll be here until the rooster crows... I don't mind but I'm not sure if you need to sleep."
