It was late at night and the majority of people were sleeping like good little girls and boys. Nadeshiko however was on the case in her alter-egos Disguise. The blond wig had been expertly applied once more and the traces of her black hair had been worked under the newsboy cap and sealed in there. At the moment she was busy poking at her notebook, using a flashlight to read what she had written earlier, leaving her completely oblivious to the world around her as she hummed noiselessly to herself as a slight distraction from whatever else she might be feeling at the moment... all alone... in the dark... in a haunted building... at night. A shiver went down her spine as that thought crept into the back of her head for a moment before she pushed it down and shifted to the next page of her notebook. |

Nomen was planning on sneaking out as she normally did; there was a large very pink and comfy bed waiting for her that may or may not have the scent of a princess she knew too well. Nobody ever noticed her, and rarely was anyone wandering around, so spotting a strange girl with a flashlight reading and writing into a notebook? That was different. Nomen may have been sneakier than a ghost but there was still that sensation of eyes on the back of her neck, of hairs raising on the backs of her arms. Nadeshiko couldn't help but turn to face behind her, swinging the flashlight's tightly focused beam around the hallway to no avail. Must have just been her imagination she concludes, eyes closing for a brief moment before she turns back to her notebook for just a moment before glancing up with her flashlight to make sure she was indeed in front of the girls bathroom before slipping inside. Nomen didn't need to move much to dodge the flashlight. She started to grin, this girl was clearly jumpy. She crept closer, stopping the door before it closed fully. Slipping through the tiniest gap to see what the girl was doing in the dark with all the lights off.

Nadeshiko is definitely doing some weird things, stepping up to each mirror in turn to breath on the glass, turning them foggy. The glass is examined for a few moments before she shifts to the next one down the line.
The toilet stalls are next, the disguised Horiuchi girl disappearing into each one before stepping back to scribble in her notebook once more.
Finally she stands in the middle of the bathroom, taking in a deep breath before calling out in a rather timid voice "Hanako! Are you here? If so show yourself!" then she waits with baited breath, trembling slightly.

This was too tempting. She couldn't help herself, a grin on her face. She waited for the girl to be looking enough away from one mirror to allow her to write on one of the now foggy mirrors before she moved back.
The mirror read simply.

Nadeshiko caught the words out of the corner of her as the fog in the mirror slowly faded, they had absolutely not been there a moment. Her eyes went wide as she stepped in close to breath on the mirror again, forcing the words to stand out once more before stepping back.
"I.. I.. I... I... I've come to help you Hanako, I've come to help you move on to the other side! All you need to do is ask and tell me what regrets are keeping you here, lingering in our realm!"
She hadn't actually expected to find a ghost... rumours were usually just in these cases... rumours.

Nomen grinned, watching the girl rush to the mirror with writing, blowing on it to bring the words out. She had moved away, watching the girl speaking in a shaky voice. she circled round, quietly, as the girl was talking, waiting for her to get entirely lost in the moment before she shoved one of the doors to the girls toilets, moving very quickly away to hide as it slammed against the wall then slammed shut with her hidden to the side to make the girl jump

Nadeshiko literally jumped as the bathroom door flew open, slammed against the wall noisily and then slammed again. Her flashlight came up to sweep over the door as she gingerly tiptoed over and slowwlyy pushed it open to look inside once more.
"Listen Hanako, I know you've been here for a long time..." It had to be Hanako right? that was like the primary ghost girl in bathrooms in Rokugan. "But I know I can help you move over to the other side... my family has been to Tengoku before, we know people there who can help you... all you need to do is let go of your regrets and move one... and ... and I can help you with that."

And while she was peeking inside, Nomen went back over to the mirrors, and she took the chance to quickly write the same thing on each mirror, which she'd quickly fogged over again.
She moved to the side again, and rolled the girls pencil to the middle of the room as she did so, to get her attention.
