"Wait, no, I am Unicorn!" Ayumu actually popped up from her spot in the water, and actually looking defensive about that fact. For a moment. Dang it, she had meant to sound way calmer than that! That was way to quick of a reaction, it would no doubt seem rude. Quick! Answer something else! "I, uh, just trying out everything, even if it might be more a bushi's thing or a shugenja's focus."

"I am sorry Unicorn-sama." she bows her head in apology "When you said 'I just do some work with them' I assumed that you were referring to the Unicorn rather than occasional work with the spirit realms. Please forgive me for mishearing you, and I beg only that I did not cause offense"
Which might have all been avoided if you had actually introduced yourself Uetani thinks to herself

The Miya is rather confused and almost unable to follow the conversation, but it doesn't really matter. She just wanted a hot bath and right now she is having one.
"Unicorn then!" She exclaims, but a pause follows since she is unsure on what to say next. No name, no answer to the question where she is from. Definitely a spirit pulling a trick.
After a moment, she decides to try to solve the mystery. Not knowing would bug her all night and she already has a lot of things that will keep her awake tonight. "Variety is good." This has been established. "Do you specialise anywhere in particular? Sword or scroll, for instance?" She asks.

"Huh?" Ayumu blinked in surprise, "Oh! No, no no! I should apologize, I could have been much clearer." She waved her arms back and forth, the water splashing a bit. She couldn't believe the Crane was apologizing to her, of all people! It wasn't like it was her fault. Dang it, Ayumu, you need to do better at making things clearer for others.
"Oh, no, mother and father wanted me to be focused in a number of areas. So I end up doing it all." She nodded to the two. "Do you, umm... two... specialize in areas like that?"

"I am a herald. Nothing more nothing less." She responds. "May I ask a question and hopefully receive an answer this time?" She looks at the Unicorn. "Are you trolling us?"
