Asurito on the other hand is an athlete and seriously thinks that she should be running away for some time now. Yet she doesn't. Instead she takes a breath and relaxes a little bit. She's not artsy so she has nothing to comment. She has never given any thought on poetry so nothing to add on that field either.
"Everyone spends time thinking about their hobbies." She says after some thought. It would be rude not to participate in the conversation, after all. "Uetani san thinks about her art, I think about the coolest bmx tricks I can perform..." She looks towards the other samurai. "What do you like doing?" A name would actually help here, but she won't point out the obvious to the girl.

Uetani gives a soft smile as the Miya re enters the conversation. A friendlier one than the more predatory smiles of before

Ayumu ponder both Uetani's words and the Miya's question. Man, that was a hard one to answer. Was she as focused to say that about her interests? It wasn't really a hobby though, it seemed really disingenuous to even try and compare them and that could be an insult to the duo. Still, they seemed to ask so would that mean she has the okay?
"I uh... don't think I can compare, samurai-san's. At least not to your levels! I tend to really... dabble in things. Not so much thinking though. I guess i never had the time? Or maybe the interest?" She says before looking away again. Saying it out loud made it way worse.

"Tell me then, of some of your hobbies, the way that one dabbles can serve to make a well rounded samurai"

"Well, I like bows, I guess. It's nice to do that. Umm..." She was struggling to think of something else. The first one was just what came to mind, but now she had to actually think and that made it way harder. Especially when put on the spot like this! "I also sort of dabble in reading about the spirit realms. It's nothing serious, I uhh, I just like that sort of thing."
Ayumu kept racking at her brain. "Horses? Yeah, horses! They can be fun at times. Uhh... is that enough? Do I need to answer with more?" Please say no more, please say no more, come on say no more! This is way harder than it looks!

Uetani smiles at that "Oh, you have painted me quite a picture Samurai-sama. I would guess from the description, you were devoted to your lord in training as a bushi, as a Unicorn at a guess?"

"Well um, I mean, I just do some work with them is all. Do you like any of those things as well, Kakita-san?" She sputtered out as if trying to gain traction over ice. At least she was getting better at it. Maybe she wouldn't look like a total buffoon now. Especially after her day, she could use a break, any kind honestly.

"I have some interest in archery and a passing connection to the spirit realms yes, Samurai-san. So you are not a unicorn, but you work with them?"

"She might be a trickster spirit. I can almost feel it in my bones." Asurito whispers to the Kakita behind her hand and then smiles a broad smile to the other girl.
"Studying the spirit realms is definitely something I want to do." For three whole days now. The Miya has never felt so concentrated about learning anything in her life so far. Earlier this morning she almost made it into class until... Roller derby happened. "Where are you from, samurai san?" She asks and secretly wishes that the girl doesn't say Ningen do. It would be easier to learn from her than from any book or sensei. Or Uetani could teach her, but let us not go there.

Uetani nods to the girl and thinks unbidden of the hungry dead, the realm that she knows the most. She listens for the other samurai's answer with a smile on her face.
