"You're the third person today to mention that 'Students For Peace' club. What's that supposed to be about?"

"I... uh... don't really know," Yoshi admits sheepily. "I'm guessing it's about using diplomacy to solve problems rather than combat; I know a Third Year Courtier student who said she's been in it every year. If not... I don't really have any backups planned, but I hear they're supposed to have all the information for every club set up around the campus at booths." He cocks his head to the side and looks at Momiko curiously.
"I found all this out from my room mate Akodo Ichiro-sama, who's Third Year," Yoshi tells her. "Are you getting along ok with yours?"

"Roommate? I don't have one. That was part of my getting enrolled here; Found that out right before I ran into you for the first time, actually. Which is why I was able to get whatever incense I want and make it feel like home without having to check with anyone else. ...I mean, maybe having a roommate would be nice, but this is nice too."

"Oh, I didn't put that together," Yoshi says, a little disappointed that his Kitsuki training had failed him in this instance. "I thought everyone who lived on campus had to have one. I like Akodo Ichiro-sama though; I think we're becoming friends, even if we're about as opposite as two people can be." He wonders if the school made a special exception for a previously home-schooled student, thinking that having a room mate would be too much socialization all at once.

She shook her head, "Mmm; Some other girls from well off families seem to have their own rooms too. I guess it must have something to do with increased room and board fees."
Momiko gave a small shrug, "Still, would you trade getting to stay with Akodo-san for staying alone?"

Yoshi considers this question seriously.
"Definitely not now that I'm getting to know him," he answers eventually. "If that had been offered before I started school, I might have taken it just to be sure I wouldn't be paired with anyone... sketchy." He recalled and used Momiko's own word for the bad people she'd encountered in her life.
"However, I don't need a lot of space," he tells her. "I wouldn't want to take up so much knowing others had less. And... really everyone I've met here so far has been very nice. I wouldn't trade away having met any of them... especially you."

"Well I'm a doubly nice person. So there you go," Momiko replied chipperly as she sipped luke warm tea, "As to myself... I will admit; It's so little space, it's hard to imagine having to share it with someone."
Indeed, the footprint of the room was probably smaller than her mother's four-poster bed.

Yoshi smiles and nods at Momiko's assessment of her own niceness.
"Maybe they have some smaller rooms designed for single-occupancy," Yoshi muses, taking a sip of his own unfinished tea, "for students with bad allergies or something like that. Then, if no students are enrolling that year who need them, they can give them out at request." He gives a slight frown as his brow furrows in further thought.
"It just occurs to me, they may reassign rooms each year," Yoshi says with a sigh. "I might not have to move, but either way, I'll have to get a new room mate since Akodo-sama is Third Year." As he says this, the young Dragon looks wistfully at Momiko, knowing she was too.

"I'm not the one to ask certainly; I think you must know more than I on the subject. I take it you haven't asked Akodo-san then?"

"No it... as I said, just occurred to me," Yoshi says, distracted by making another mental note to as Ichiro as Momiko had implicitly suggested. "I'm really just making a lot of deductions, since my parents didn't go over with me any of the school information they were sent before sending me off." He finds himself unable to resent them for that in this moment, as he wouldn't have been in the Guidance Counsellor's office to run into the girl beside him if they had.
"Same for you, I guess?" he asks sympathetically. She had been there too, after all. It amused him that this was another thing for which to thank her mother besides the feast of a lunch they'd just had, though of course he'd never dare.
