Slightly off the path in the courtyard lay the Mystery/Occult Research Club booth. A large plywood monstrosity that Nadeshiko had carefully planned out to be eyecatching and pleasing. A pair of cardboard cutouts rested on each side of the booth, One of the great teenage detective Kindaichi Hajime and the other of a rather.. odd depiction of Arsene from what is most assuredly not a canon Lupin the Third spinoff. The booth itself is stacked with recruitment forms, various detective manga and anime, and novels both Rokugani and Gaijin in messy piles that had been gone through a few times. Above the whole mess is a handmade sign declaring "Occult Research/Mystery Club" and below it a smaller sign "Join now for preferred sidekick status." Guarding the whole thing Is Nadeshiko, dressed appropriately as Rokugan's favourite fictional detective, Lupin the 3rd. |

Ichiro approaches Nade's booth still a little tired from all the tryouts in the dojo. He gives Nade a small smile as he comes to her booth. "Good day Horiuchi-san, do you have a moment to talk?"

Nade grins widely as Akodo approaches, pulling a magnifying glass from her pocket. She spins it expertly in her fingers before leaning forward to gaze directly at the lion through it.
"I do indeed Akodo-san~ I am glad you found me. Excellent detective work... would you like to join my club while we talk?"

Ichiro laughs at Nade's display. "It is not difficult to find someone when they telk you where they will be. My apologies horiuchi-san I cannot commit the time between kendo, boxing and basketball. I am stretched thin enough as it is. Besides I know little to nothing about investogation. Though if you ever need a little mundane muscle for your investigations you have my number."

Nade can't help but sigh deeply at his refusal, even making a show of clutching the booth she'd set up. "A tragic shame. You would have looked good in a suit. It's okay though, the world requires your incredible abilities elsewhere"
She stands then, one hand moving to straighten some hair. "So yes, we should talk... probably about last night right? I am sorry for what happened."

"You're right I look damn good in a suit" Ichiro says flashing the unicorn with a smile.
"As for the events of last night I understand you are sorry. I too apologize for losing my temper. What you did was wrong but I could have found a better way to deal with it."

Nade still had no idea how to deal with any of this, these were her first set of friends... and it taken her like 2 days to basically ruin her friendships with them. She fidgeted nervously as she glanced down at the table she had set up with a sampling of her books and manga, trying to find some answer within the brightly illustrated covers.
"I just.. I didn't want... all I can say is I'm sorry... there is nothing else I can say." she goes quiet then, still staring down at the books. She felt miserable again, the same kind of miserable that forced her to run away last night.
"If you want to punish me, I'll accept it Akodo-san"

Ichiro got a concerned look and reached down to grab Nade's hand to still it from busying itself around the stall. "Hiro-Nadeshiko-san, it's ok. I accept your apology, there is no need of punishment it seems like you have done a plenty thorough job of that yourself."
He looks down at the girl and squeezes her hand reassuringly. "Please let us leave the past in the past and move forward."

Nade froze as he grabbed her hand, staring down at it for a few long moments before gently tugging it away with a deep flush on her cheeks.
"Okay... Ichiro-san, it's behind us. We don't need to talk about it again. Well... that's one down and a few more to go. Kuni-san is going to be the worst, I have no idea where to start even making things up with her."

"Do you want me to go with you to talk to her?" Ichiro asks knowing that sometimes having a friend can make awkward situations a little less so.
