Kuni-san is going to kill me when she finds out.
Then he glances at the Akodo's bruise. "Yeah, it looks like it did. Good thing that masked lady came along."

She takes a step back smiling quite pleased with herself before turning to the Akodo. "Oh my whatever happened to you?" She turns to look at Kobushi. "Did you hurt him Daidoji-San?"

"Daidoji-san wishes he could have done this to me." The Akodo laughs. "No we ran into some strange spirit beast late last night that tagged me pretty good." He takes his shirt the rest of the way off and turns around showing how the bruise goes around his back fading as it nears his spine. "Don't know what it was but it was pretty strong."

"Came at us with what looked like vines and looked like a wooden tiger of some sort," he says, recalling the thing. "The whole thing had me on edge most of the night. I guess that's how I ended up here, trying to work some of the adrenaline off."

She raises an eyebrow. Is that what they are calling it now. "Oh my such a strange happening. Well as long as you boys aren't beating each other up. I can't be to upset with you two now can I?"

"No, sensei. We weren't doing anything of the sort."
He smiles.
"I imagine the beating up will happen on tryouts for one of the close combat clubs."

"Yeah if we had been brawling I wouldn't have been the only one walking away with a mark." Ichiro gave a confident smile that bordered on looking cocky.
"Pardon sensei but what brings you to this part of the dojo? Excuse me of I say you look too fair to practice something so brutish as hand to hand combat." Ichiro says turning to the Otomo.

Otomo Katsumi's eyebrow raises ever so slightly. Bold one's now that's an interesting proposition. She smiles politely at Akodo Ichiro. "Well now Akodo-San." She motions to her Yari for a moment. "I was on my way to the Kyujutsu Dojo to start setting up recruitment for the Kyujutsu club. When I sort of wandered into here by mistake."

Kobushi raised an eyebrow. That can't be true. Nobody could get that lost.
Not that he says any of this out loud. The boy does have some measure of social survival instinct. For now, he keeps quiet unless addressed. Or dismissed.

Ichiro shrugs "seems like you need a personal guide Otomo-sensei." He says with a sly grin on his lips.
He turns to Kobushi, "So were you thinking of doing more striking practice or wrestling? Would you like a partner for either?"
